Generally, Jamaicans don't keep dogs in their houses. Dogs are kept outside the home and roam around freely. It is strange to see a mentally stable Jamaican, much less a foreigner, sleeping outside a house. But here he is, trying to sleep outside and expecting rural folks to understand his behavior. The people of Portland are concerned for his safety, but he interprets this as they want him to spend money to get a hotel room.

I live in Jamaica and visited Portland to seek land/a home and I had a bad experience there as well. Some of the people in port Antonio are really predatory 😂😂 I just decided to stay in manchester where its more palatable....I couldn't imagine living in that place...on the flipside..I always have great experiences on the manchioneal end of Portland.

Young man I'm really sorry for your bad experiences in Jamaica, I know it's a big island with lots of variations I must say, there are good and bad in every countries globally, and of course Jamaica do have tons of amazing places and people all over, there are many pristine and naturalistic outdoors beyond your wildest dreams in Jamaica, Jamaica is for everyone of all races, ages and genders, it's just where to find the right things and spots for your waah and memorable experiences, I believe you should have done a little more research before just venturing on your own for the first time, I'm living in Toronto Canada, and I have traveled all over the world, and to many tropical and Mediterranean countries as well, by far Jamaica is on the top, and I personally have some amazing experiences down in Jamaica in the past, anyways I hope one day you'll be able to meet a true honest Jamaican friend to show you the real light and paradise of Jamaica, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, please try to keep it positive regardless my good man. 💕
