This is really helpful, thank you! I'm so nervous to buy one of these. I've watched a couple different reviews, inckuding this one, and they seem very hit or miss, oddly enough? The two dolls you have here have lovely paint jobs. The coloring and detailing on each face is perfect, in my opinion, but I watched someone else unbox a Mike figurine (same brand, ThreeZero) and the face wasn't as well done. The paint job was still tidy, but it wasn't as detailed as these ones. With that in mind, do you think I should invest in buying one? They seem awesome for figurines, but I would hate to spend so much money and be let down! x_x

I really appreciate you showing the blank body at the end of the video. As a doll player, I looked for this before deciding to buy them. I don't just display them as a figure collector, I also want to see the quality of the blank bodies to see how they might interact with my other doll clothing.

Wow, I've got the sideshow version for both. I think I'm going to hold onto the sideshow Destro. I'm not a fan of all that rubbery textured skin tight clothing on the threezero. It was the same deal for snake eyes. However, the Cobra commander looks miles better than the sideshow version. The sideshow version always looked too lanky to me because of the crappy bodies they used underneath. This one's proportions are perfect. Seems like sideshow used a lot of hard plastics which looked more realistic to me as opposed to Threezero who uses a lot of rubbery textured flexible plastic which to me looks too much like a cheap plastic toy. It takes away from the realism.

Cobra Commander looks really good! In the initial early photos the mask was not reflective, it looked more like it was a solid metal face plate, and it was an interesting take on his iconic look. But overall, I'm glad they made the final retail version reflective. Looking forward to getting my hands on mine.

Too bad they keep releasing the same figures over and over with new outfits. We want new figures never released. Zartan, Scarlett, Duke, Quick Kick etc

Hello again! It worked great on my Jiaou. The legs were plastic so it was straightforward. But now I'd like to do it to a Phicen, Her legs' skeleton is steel, Can you please tell me which kind of rotary blade you use? Mine is for wood and other softer materials. I don't think they'll make do cutting steel? So please, what blade did you use?
