One of my biggest musical regrets is not seeing him perform live. At one stage I watched a video of him performing Jesus to a Child live. It was so perfect I actually thought "You prick, you're lip-syncing". So I listened to it alongside the studio recording, side by side, bit by bit. It took some time, but I eventually picked out tiny differences, a note held a split second longer etc. I was left with huge respect for his pure talent.
