Enjoying the new mix, wouldn't call it an improvement, but it does kinda revitalize the song for me. One thing i find odd though is the double kick runs on 0:04 and 0:15 , makes me think of mr bungle bay area thrash riffs, anyways so that's not there..I know Ben kinda reworked the parts live( and i really dig them to be honest) ...It just kinda throws me off on the recording, i got so used to the brrrrrrr of 16th kick notes on Kurts maniacal lead. I wonder if it was ever played like that live ?I havent seen too much footage with the drummer on that session, John DiGiorgio ( dig his drumming on Canephora and the end of the universe) since he was not in the band for very long before Ben stepped up.

Love Converge, but I'm more familiar with their post-Jane Doe discography I need to check out more their early stuff. Shit sounds fuckin raw and unapologetic ^^

redux does NOT mean remixed, it is all in the mastering process.-Buy the frickin cd if you want your ears & speakers reduced to rubble. streamed video footage fails to capture the actual sound and presence of a recorded piece of work....

Gentlemen I CRIED to Farewell Note To This City. What an absolutely seminal band in my life. 16 and this is my favorite band. They have been there for me for such a rough time that I'm having in high school and not being able to fit in but knowing there is a community like this is so hopeful. Wow just wow......🥲

Up for days cutting losses and trading in the most precious of wings The nights never end, and these ghosts will never know true rest They stretch for miles, they take me home In the name of love and you I say Sometimes when you win the war you lose it all Towering, they stretch for miles Speaking as eloquently as the tallest of tales They stretch for miles They take me home

somebody bring back the days of bands releasing DVD's like this with album releases. I miss seeing the skronky vhs live footage and shenanigans on the road.
