Enjoying the new mix, wouldn't call it an improvement, but it does kinda revitalize the song for me. One thing i find odd though is the double kick runs on 0:04 and 0:15 , makes me think of mr bungle bay area thrash riffs, anyways so that's not there..I know Ben kinda reworked the parts live( and i really dig them to be honest) ...It just kinda throws me off on the recording, i got so used to the brrrrrrr of 16th kick notes on Kurts maniacal lead. I wonder if it was ever played like that live ?I havent seen too much footage with the drummer on that session, John DiGiorgio ( dig his drumming on Canephora and the end of the universe) since he was not in the band for very long before Ben stepped up.

Love Converge, but I'm more familiar with their post-Jane Doe discography I need to check out more their early stuff. Shit sounds fuckin raw and unapologetic ^^

Loved this dvd!!! A few.of the highlights I remember is "Towing Jehova" in someone's basement and "My Great Devastator" in Germany somewhere. Going to dig it out again.
