I think the issue is the first coat was not mixed correctly and etching primer is either 1:1 or 2:1 with 2k thinners not hardener. cant see exactly what you used to thin the primer out with.?

@@RDCCAS Hi. Regarding etch primer, I mixed as per mixing ratio on the can and it is most certainly 4:1. Regarding the 2k, I can’t genuinely say I mixed it correctly😂 hence me correcting all basis, paint, gun, pressure to prevent the same results. Either way, it worked

If you remove the helpers you reduce the bounciness And extended mounts also helps with smoother rides 👍🏻

The car looks good at that height. Kinda sad that you're selling the wheels and lifting the car 😅 You can try no helpers and cutting the bump stops down a bit so you've got more suspension travel. I've heard that the ARC's are not the best on a Mk1 but the same can be said about most coilovers on a Mk1. 🤣

@@lowdl honestly. Would have loved to keep the setup as is. Maybe go extended shock mounts. But it just won’t go inline with future plans. So have to make the hard choice and sacrifice 😂 also, I feel hold. There is absolutely no fun in driving a car where the quality is sacrificed for looks🫣
