if u dont have a motorolla or google phone that pops up the file viewer when you plug in, get an old android phone and flash lineage os 19-20 on it. it will work flawlessly <3

@@estrellapatrick Yep, exactly. Prior to the S21 a hard factory reset (HFR) would remove all info./format it back to basic factory settings, now it removes most but not the google login security. Means that if someone nicks your phone they can't HFR it and sell it on/use it. Problem is that if you forget your pin code to open the phone and can't remember the google login and password you set up originally then you are more or less locked out of it unless you fancy paying an extortionate amount to Samsung to do it. I would hazard a guess that it's to deter potential thieves but it also prevents re-selling the phone if you upgrade/change phone......you won't be wanting to give the new owner your google login details now would you? That's why I commented on how this guy stops the video BEFORE getting to the google login and password as clearly he doesn't know how to bypass this particular stage.
