No she didn't. She went on to become an office administrator in season 6 or 7 and then probably started to do something related to arts after they had moved to Austin.

Yeah I remember seeing most of that in the show. Can't be sure about the blinking since I saw it a long time, but I know I saw at least up until right before the coughing/detonator part.
