So to help people who need to refill their AC I’ll give you a step by step since this video was a bit wonky. Step 1: Turn on your car and turn on ac to full blast, make sure to turn on the air circulation as well.(It should be the icon with the reverse arrow inside car) Step 2: Pop your hood and look for the tube with the “L” on the cap. You need to open that up.(Make sure to place the cap somewhere safe Step 3: Open the AC refrigerant bottle and shake it a little bit Step 4: Connect the refrigerant to the low pressure tube (This is where you removed that cap with the “L” on it. Make sure it is pushed in all the way otherwise it won’t work Step 5: Begin refilling your ac refrigerant by pulling the trigger Note: You will know it’s working when you can feel the ac refrigerant bottle getting cold, if you don’t feel it getting cold, make sure you screw the top of the refrigerant bottle very tightly then begin again Extra Note: As your refilling your ac, you wanna swing the bottle up and down or side to side. Don’t just fill it up with the bottle in an upright position the whole time. You should have cold air by the time you’re done. Hope this helps

As a side note, there are TWO air conditioner inlets, a low pressure and high pressure. You want to use the low pressure one. It is USUALLY near the front, but in some cars (like a Taurus), its in the back. They are usually keyed so you can't force the connection between the can and inlet too...

I always hear to rock the can up and down, between 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions, while charging. Why do you say to keep it straight up?

With R134a you DO hold it with the gauge end up ( it doesn’t have to be completely straight up ) and every 15 seconds you turn the can to the 9:00 or 3:00 ( depending on which hand you’re using ) .position and then back to straight. You won’t get in much if any refrigerant until the AC Compressor clutch engages. With R12a , not R12 ( a R134a substitute ) the refrigerant is a different substance ( propane, butane, Natural gas???? ) so you turn the can upside down with that.
