Funny, this was a terrible year for our peppers. We used a variety that was prolific last year, but a total dud this year.

Sorry to hear that. I believe our compost is like gold. The more I use it the more I see our stuff doing better and better every year. Our compost is made up of our animal manure and it sets for a year at least with my husband turning it ever couple months.

We are in Southeast Indiana. I am not sure how they would react to the cold spells coming so just wanted to get them harvested and get that bed laid to rest for winter.

Did you have a heater in the tank? I have a horse that checks for current. Even if I can feel nothing (and yes I'm dumb enough to ground myself and then try it), if he doesn't like it I have to get a new heater.

@@randolphsfarm It was when we were hatching too! You should do the hatchery thing....go for it! If I were to do that I would focus on specifically orphingtons mostly, they are my favorite breed and are all colors too. I also like brahams.
