Love it dude. I used to play it exactly this way, but its mostly slides and not hammer ons if you watch the live concerts just a tip i mean no negativity. Tone sound great too

I learned it by ear and my guitar is in drop b. You just have to work on it. It doesn't really matter what tuning your guitar is in.
