Call me OCD, but I spotted a few details when looking at the retail token punchboards compared to what's listed in the retail rulebook and on your website: - there appear to be 29 Action tokens total on the 3 retail punchboards, as opposed to the 25 in the KS version and in the retail rulebook. - there appears to be 1 extra green Anarchy token (5 instead of 4) in retail - or is there something else on the back of that one? - Unity's Construct token and Chrono's Marked token (which are in the core box in the KS version) don't appear to be in the retail core box... I saw the Construct token in the Rubble & Ruin box, but I didn't see any punchboards in the Guise And Chrono-Ranger team-up pack... so where did the Marked token go? - With those two tokens in mind, the retail rulebook says there are 13 scenario tokens... but I have no idea how to get to that number (what is and isn't included)... I see 3 quest tokens, 1 MDP token, 1 Construction token, 1 Frozen token (for AZ) and 9 explosion tokens... that adds up to a lot more than 13!?!

Can't remember if this was ever mentioned, would the sleeve packs be available for retail? Any way to combine the contents of the retail boxes together, or if were to use the inserts they would need to stay in their boxes? No matter if all in base box or not.

I got my copy today and the only thing I'm wondering is why is there not enough action tokens to put all the starting action tokens in with each character

Hey, couple of things here: 1) weren’t you guys supposed to draw the first scheme card before beginning the game then shuffling the Justice Rules the Night cards into the scheme deck afterwards? Or was that done prior to starting the video? Also, I’m just restarting this video after doing my first playthrough so pardon if this was already displayed during the video, but what happens to overflow henchmen when you can’t put them onto a villain card? Are there any penalties? Or are they just put into the pile and that’s it? Lastly, I have to go back and look at the rulebook when I get home, but I didn’t know you had to use an action token to use hero/personal life powers, do you really have to use action tokens for those? Also, wasn’t Ermine supposed to come out during Bunker’s villain phase? The 3rd on the card required the green villain to move, correct?

As far as Ermine moving, I believe they were still in Chapter #1 so the villain figures were still on their cards. According to the rulebook, page 19 in the purple box at the bottom: "While a villain is not in the city (because the figure is on their card or they have been defeated), they don't move or use abilities, and can't take damage". They weren't actually placed on the board until the start of Chapter #2 per the scenario.

What the heck is with this playthrough? So at timestamp 15:22, Dustin rolls a 1, 2, and 3, completely whiffing his attack. Robert offers to help with Pin Down to add his two dice, and Dustin rerolled his dice. Since Dustin got 3 successes, he claims he no longer needed Roberts help, and Robert takes back his card, but Dustin keeps his newly rolled dice. That's cheating beyond the levels I've ever seen at my table lol.

Thank you so much for working on this so hard for such a long time! As disappointing as it may be to wait all these years as a backer, I know how much more discouraging it must have been to have this project fall farther and farther behind schedule. I know from some of my own creative projects that once they are behind schedule it becomes incredibly disheartening every time I am reminded of them and even harder to actually work on the project. So I want to thank you all for sticking with this all these years and not just cutting your losses and giving up. I am so very grateful for all of the work you and the team have put into delivering on your promises and making this a great game! I cannot wait to paint all those fantastic minis and play the game!

I ordered this outside Kickstarter, but did pledge (late) although there is no record on pledgemanager, backerkit, nor gamefound. I do have my email thankfully. I wonder if all of my pledge will be sent or if they decided against some content. Hero (KS Exclusive Edition) pledge with core game sleeves and Hero Pledge Paint Upgrade extras. Had this ordered years ago and sadly one of my friends had passed away so no longer will be able to enjoy this. 28:27 if this is what the Hero pledge gets for core, I am impressed.

Seeing the miniatures from Tactics being used as the prototype makes absolute sense. Before I decided to go with the option with painted miniatures, I literally thought about not getting the miniatures and just using the Tactics ones, but then found out that there are way more characters from Sentinels in Freedom Five.

Everything looks really cool. Quick question It sounds like at least part of whats in the envelopes are new things for the different characters at least the original 5. So my question is Does other characters like the 3 remaining KS characters, the 2 in the extra box and the 2 in the cosmic Threats also unlock things on the way or are they more 1 and done in terms of unlocks?

A little underwhelmed by the FX Tokens they might be getting a wash or somethin in my copy, they looked a little flat in the video (may be due to lightning/camera of course) and I also thought some of them would be translucent plastic, such as the freeze tokens and something else, some if the yellow ones. But, I'm looking forward to getting this to ths table, and I understand this has been a monumental task to finish!

I guess the henchmen can be laid flat so that their one sidedness is not so apparent and the printing shows more compared to when standing up and being viewed from a players perspective.

i understand it may have been too late in printing, but i'm a little sad Unity's Chatacter card didn't get updated to have her Construct setup information on it. Scholar does for his tokens that start in play, and no one else's starts in play so they have instructions for when to bring them in. (i.e.. Young Legacy's Smash or AZ's Freeze). Yes, I understand it just starts in her location, but nowhere does it actually say that in the rules i've looked at. For what it's worth, i'd pay for an update pack if they ever get reprinted with that fixed on her character card.

I know there are people who are frustrated with how long the KS took to fulfill and plan to sell their copy once they get it. Try to keep an eye out or maybe ask in the general comments of the KS campaign

I see why you wanted the player boards to be cardstock. It doesn’t look like the cards and tokens that overlap the boards will lay flat on the punchboard.

BUNKER LOOKS AMAZING! I cannot wait to play this bad boy I went all-in and I really hope the next project brings in my all time favorite SotM hero Tempest so I can take on his arch nemesis Voss! I can’t wait to see how dynamic his mini turns out(praying that he is indeed next up), and also hoping for the Void Guard not too far behind. I will support you guys till the very end, this game deserves all the expansions leading up to OblivAeon, hopefully the artist(s) is still on board because the art for this game is among the best I have ever seen for a board game!

I agree, I would love to see a Rook City map along with Insula Primalis, and other major environments. Prime Wardens and Dark Watch and the Southwest Sentinels/Void Guard would also be an awesome addition, as well as the hero versions of past villains, like Stuntman and Luminary.

Question though: In the scenario comic book vol. 1 (at least in the PDF I downloaded from the KS update a couple of months ago), for Scenario 1, it says to shuffle in 7 Justice Rules the Night Cards. But in this video, you say there are only 6. So should Scenario 1 be using 6 or 7 of those cards? Thanks again!

Looks very cool. I know you worked so hard on that insert but I know I will be reorganizing the whole thing and I will make it fit. One question: How does the size of the KS box compare to The Black Brick(tm) from the original SotM game?

Yeah, this will be another game where a 3D printed insert will be required to make things fit properly. Definitely not a Game Trayz or Black Magic insert, as they usually do things right.

@@ScytheNoire I almost never find any inserts worth while. I may save some portion of one here or there but even the 'best' frequently don't organize things how I like. And a Gametrayz insert costs as much as a whole game half the time. 🤣

Well, I'm going to be negative again, but where are we going to store all these tokens? Weren't the 2 heroes in the outer box supposed to fit into one of the two boxes???? What's the weight of your sleeves, because I thought I'd sleev them with paladin mark, but seeing how little space there is left (outside the character boxes), I'm afraid it won't fit (100 micron). Where are the semi-translucent dice? The meeples look pretty poor, only printed on one side...

The 2 community chosen Team Up heroes were unfortunately not ever going to be able to get into the main box or the cosmic box. I don't believe Walter ever promised that - that I know of. The weight of our sleeves is .1 mm or 100 micron so you are good. There are 2 card wells in the bottom of the tray. It is intended that the envelopes move up to the slots in the lid underneath where the heroicFX pack goes (if you have it), but are packed below for shipping. The Heroic translucent dice are shown around the 1:55 mark in the video. Not sure how to respond to the meeples as they were always spec'd by the previous team as single sided printing as double-sided would have more than doubled their cost.

@@ArcaneWonders I never recall it being said the community heroes would fit in the main boxes either. Glad to hear the sleeves will be good. I am unsure I have ever played a game with meeples that have prints on both sides. ROOT certainly doesn't and it's never affected my enjoyment of a game.

@@ArcaneWonders Let's take a look at news #34. First image of this news, we see clearly and it's written black on white with an arrow pointing to the extension. “FITS INSIDE”. And I remember discussions about it, but it was so long ago that I couldn't go back and check all the comments. Any answers to that? I thought I only had 2 boxes at home and not a 3rd with just 2 characters. But hey, the damage is done... Edit: And thanks for the timeline on the dice. I hadn't seen them, sorry for the mistake.
