And SAME with The Raven Boys. The synopsis and the beginning prophecy reaaaaally had me thinking it was going to go a different route. I LOOOOOOOVE The Graveyard Book. Neil Gaiman is my ultimate fave.

This is like what, my FIFTH time watching this and I agree 100%. Please make one for War storm when It comes out. (I have it pre orded by the way!) Also I have been watching these book talk things about King's Cage all across the internet and not once has someone mentioned some of my favorite sentences. Like when Mare is talking to Maven about marring someone you actually care about, "Well I can't really choose who I want can I?" (Something like that. Hes talking about Mare.) And a few pages over the grandmother saying "Maybe then I can understand while my grandson threw his kingdom away for you." WHICH GRANDSON?! :D

Evangeline is awesome, I knew she was hiding something, so glad we got her point of view. I want her and Ptolemus to rule the rift together, with Elane as Evangeline's wife and Ptolemus marries Wren or another Skonos girl. Then Cal can rule with Mare and Piedmont will be split between the Rift and Tiraxes and Prairie between Montfort, Tiraxes, and Ciron. Seriously though let's see some action from Tiraxes and Ciron. Shade's daughter is a teleporter, Gisa and Kilorn marry, one of Mare's daughters take up the Titanos name and have an Electricon house, let the daughter of Kilorn and Gisa be a swift or something. I think whisper's will be eradicated though. I want Julian and Sara to get their happy ending.

Cal is my favorite character!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I finished King's Cage my heart broke. I mean, when I read Red Queen I liked Maven and Mare together because they seemed to understand each other and Maven really seemed to care about equality between Silvers and Redbloods. When I finished it of course I felt betrayed but I didn't really feel heartbroken. That happened when I finished King's Cage. Because Mare can be so frustrating I did my best to look at things the way she did and that's probably why the epilogue hit me so hard. I understand Cal but I also understand Mare. I saw it coming since the middle of the book but then, I hoped Cal would make the right choice. She (Mare) has been through so much betrayal and grief... I just really feel for her. I honestly like Cal's character because we see a developement since the whole series. He becomes a stronger character but the crown was always his weakness, that was what he was tought to want all his life and that was what he was going to get even after he met Mare. I honestly think the choice he made at the end is not final. I feel that the fact that his character has been developing since the first book will make his decision change in the last book, and I honestly hope so. I'm still heart broken. Well done, Victoria Aveyard. Well done. (Sorry, I had to put my feelings out there. I just finished reading the book so yeah)
