In reality you have something with rotting pellet wounds in front of you, the skin tears, and the guts stink. Which is why, sadly, a lot of pheasants are just killed to amuse people.

I assume all those people complaining about rabbit hunting, don't eat pig, chicken, lamb, beef, and all the rest of it. I mean at least the rabbits have a natural life until they're shot. Not like a lot of factory farmed animals. And anyway, how do people think rabbits end up? Its a fox, a falcon, or under a car. Or would you prefer they get senile and die of age related diseases. You know, like most of you snowflakes 😅

Such a lovely documentary. I was fascinated to see wild hares when I visited the UK in 1991. Back in India, we acquired five rabbits as pets for my young daughter. But one day, the bin man left the gate open and his dogs came in and had merely rounded up the rabbits before I shot out of the house and chased away. the curs. But all the rabbits died of the shock. They were soft and beautiful bunnies with eyes like pomegranate arils.

Thank you for all of this. Question- I shoot a 7mm Rem Mag off of sandbags. I have a muzzle brake. I usually place my left hand on the forestock to manage the "jump". Am I making a mistake by doing that or should I have that left hand under my butt stock as you have. your gun doesn't seem to have much vertical jump.

That stupid designed stock might be ok for .243 or .270 but for cartridges with heavy recoil, it sucks. A straight comb, very little drop design is best.

For the first cold blind, I want big momentum so I put out a series of bumpers spaced about 30 yards apart at the end of a flat featureless field to ensure success at the end of the blind. Throwing a mark in the field, then running the blind also helps build momentum. From the first cold blind, I want the retriever to think "run to the end of the field": kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaG1aKOjmtN3l5osi=2pividLU6xfq0FRe From the dog's perspective there is a huge difference lining to know locations or a visible marker compared to a cold blind lining to a new unknown destination:.

Seagulls are a menace. In my city there used to be lots of bird song, now there is hardly any as the type of gull you can't shoot has free reign to pork its way through the small bird population.

After sighting in at 60 feet, I could easily cover 5 shots with a nickel kzbin.infoUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL ! Truly a pleasure to shoot! Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. Only problem the varmints must have seen it delivered lol!Update: So impressed with shot groups at 30 yards I purchased a Hammers 3×9 with adjustable Objective scope! Now a true nail driver!

I note the age of this vid', its good shooting, but try the latest FAC .25 FX Maverick, mine has been tuned to 65ft lb using 35grn Zan slugs at 1050fps, you will find its a huge upgrade on your 24ft lb & more than capable of knocking rabbits over at 75 yards........As THE man says " Dont be mean, kill them clean". Good hunting.
