Never easy to have to be interviewed straight after the game, though both summed up the match perfectly. It is evidenced at this higher level that we need to be more efficent in front of goal but this is what happens when you get promoted into a more challenging league. City will take all this and the previous weeks on board and will develop new ideas to get us those important and valuable points. Tally and Griff nailed it. Today was another great step forward on the City Women journey. Playing against big teams like MK Dons, only makes them stronger. You learn a lot more from games like this, than you would in a 8-0 trouncing of a lower league club. So proud how this club is progressing and more importantly how the players carry themselves on and off the pitch. Totally inspiring and this will be a massive springboard going back into league games ⚽💙🤍

Great squad performance from 16 players. Sofia is so solid in goal and Annie Sime has been close the last couple of games so it was great to see her finally get her goal!

An absolutely brilliant performance from the Women today. Some of the inter connecting passing and running off the ball was, in my opinion, sublime. The defending as a team was fantastic as well. Every Worcester person that experienced the day went home with the biggest smiles on their faces. The celebrations at the end showed how much this meant to the Women, and the jubilation singing and dancing was spot on.
