Watching this. Too much emphasis on hair. The reason we dermaplane to to take off surface layers of the stratum corneum. Removing vellum hair is side benefit.

Great video! I have been dermaplaning for about 10 years, and this is exactly the way I do it. I am always so baffled when I see estheticans going downwards with the blade... that is the direction the hair grows, so when you are removing hair, you would want to move in the opposite direction, just like in waxing. As a fellow leftie, I love seeing procedures done from a left handed person. Thanks so much!

She said you can use any product to help with gliding. That can mean gels, oils, etc. anything that is unscented and non irritating to the skin
