Do you still like this up down quickshifter after a few years? I just got a used Street Triple 765 and am thinking of getting this. Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Sophisticated ankle joint protection :) At this pace, it does not make the point of showing the essence of auto blipping as revmatch is totally pointless.. not even the slipper clutch has to kick in to assist.. imho

Sometimes yes. What i did was i cut the shift assist connectors and join the wires directly (without connectors). No more triggers.

Is this as smooth as the oem quickshifter or smoother?
@JuzzSonicChannel
@JuzzSonicChannel 6 жыл бұрын
It’s smoother than OEM. You can adjust the preload of the shifter, and the kill time for individual gears, at multiple RPM points (eg 60ms from 2000-5000, 57ms from 5001-8000, 54ms from 8001-12000)

Is this an easy install? What's needed other than the RB Shift Assist, or is that all? How many gears can you safely bang down when riding hard? Does it become unsettled?
@JuzzSonicChannel
@JuzzSonicChannel 6 жыл бұрын
Yes if you’re familiar with removing airbox/throttle bodies, it is a relatively easy install. You’ll need the RapidBike Evo or Racing module as it will not work on it’s own. Can downshift from 6-1 with no problems. May be abit unsettled at times, but most of the time it’s very smooth.

Do you use the evo or racing module? And what is the difference between them? Which would you recommend for the striple rs?
@JuzzSonicChannel
@JuzzSonicChannel 6 жыл бұрын
I’m currently using the EVO module (would have gotten the RACING module if finance permit). RACING module has everything EVO has, with additional Launch Control, Traction Control, Dual Mappings, Pit Lane Limiter. For RS, it’s really up to you. EVO is more than good enough, but given the choice i would upgrade to RACING (launch control is too awesome)
