"Basu has stated he believes British policing is institutionally racist, criticising other senior British police officers for their reluctance to agree" he is a 5th column and race baiter and outright liar.

Well worth watching, but I was left feeling somewhat depressed by the content. Policing needs all the goodwill and professional help it can get, almost like a sick patient needing a good doctor. And the focus should be about improving general managerial competency, with diversity and race as integral rather than separate values. Anything else would be yet another policing mistake. As for Neil's comments about positive discrimination, isn't that what has been the case for the last many decades, but positively white? That gave us many talented officers, I am sure, but it also gave us the Wayne Couzens, David Carricks, and Adam Provans, and caused what is effectively a boycott of policing by black folks. Bad idea! Policing, the only way is up from where it is today. My personal thanks to Neil, and all the good men and women of the profession of all colours. The goodies are the underappreciated majority; goodies such as Sgt Graham Saville, RIP.

Excellent interview. I am trying to get a response from Kent Police locally why they are not following guidelines to Communicate and Engage.

Fascinating video, a suggestion - would you be able to add chapters to the video? Would be easier to jump to key timestamps when Danny moves the conversation to new topics. But overall, Neil shares some revealing insights that Mr Rowley's Turnaround Plan Team could do well listening to.
