Does anyone know what stage incontinence occurs? My 86 yr old dementia client is pooping her pants, no longer wants to shower yet is cognitively fairly good. YStill has her Narcissistic Personality Disorder with her playing games (50% of her dementia is faked). It used to be 90% was faked but she's loosing that ability. Getting nicer now which I''ve ready usually happens with these severe types. Yet..still...She constantly wants to talk in circles (partially dementia) , goes into drunken rages, etc. She's sleeping 11 hrs a night now instead of 9 hrs like before. And she's really out like a light (though alcohol, which her family defends, certainly is playing a part). Just wondered how long she might have. I predict 1 year, maybe 1.5 yrs but who knows.. Thanks for your videos :)

Sure, getting it fixed as a ton of advantages. But not everyone can get it fixed. And that's where society needs to adapt. I am happy that in Australia, there are adult diaper changing tables. Honestly, America, where I live, should follow suit with that.

The national public toilet registry is such a good idea. If only the United States would develop such a resource. And the information available in Australia is vastly more comprehensive and useful.

Australian male, with old age and Severe Traumatic Brain Injury, from 38 years ago, when I was 34 years old. Main support staff is my wife. Both of us have no experience with this product. Is the foreskin needing to be withdrawn? Can the uridome be re-used? If re-used, does it retain its inbuilt adhesive qualities? Surprised that so many comments needed your web address or phone number on a video tutorial. Watching this now on KZbin, 6 am Australian time, fromm my motorized nursing bed, at home, on the Samsung Galaxy Tab, suspended above my head, when lying on bed. Need to place orders with some of my many support staff, who have no experience with these products. Currently using diapers & urinal bottle. See no response from my comments here, give months ago.

please pray No Human Being should be affected by dementia, I know how hard ot is to manage coz my father is a dementia patient
I prolapsed at 23 years old after my first baby and I can’t even put into words how severe my depression got. What made it much more difficult to deal with was when I went to get help from my gps they were so uncaring and made me feel like an absolute freak of nature, one gp even checked me and said “this is why I had c sections” which just made me spiral even more. They just sent me away and refused point blank to give me a women’s health physio referral and told me to do kegals but I wasn’t even sure how to do them. I cried daily for months and struggled bonding with my son due to the stress. I had to swap doctors to be taken seriously. I’m terrified to have more babies even though I’m now only 25 and my partner wants another baby as do I. The fear of movement was hard to deal with, the constant feeling of something being in my vagina and the dragging discomfort made me struggle walking normal, I felt like I’d just been handed a disability. One day I could run, jump, climb and lift and then it all just came down on me like a ton of bricks where I struggled just walking around for 20 mins at a time, struggled to hold my newborn son for a long period of time, could not place him on my belly due to the pressure. I will say it was the hardest time of my entire life early pp and even now I still struggle dealing with it all. It got a lot better with physio exercises I learned from KZbin, I had to do all my own research because no one would help me and when I finally did get a referal the nhs physio was honestly pretty basic and also brushed me off 🥺 I only had two appointments and she said she could no longer help me as my pelvic floor was a 4/5 but I still had symptoms and she refused to give me a pessary to self manage as I was “too young” and was also told I was “too young for surgery” so two treatment options of the 3 were already taken away from me and all I had left was kegals so I decided to pay out of pocket to see a private physio who also told me how young I was and that she normally treats old women, I don’t think she meant to hurt my feelings but again it made me feel pretty crappy and also told me I was too young for a pessary, I basically paid her to make me feel like shit and refuse me a treatment option. I felt and still do feel extremely let down by not only my gps but the nhs physio the private physio, the midwives and their treatment towards me while I was giving birth and the care after. I am still haunted by the memories of giving birth and being spoken to like total dirt from the midwives and how uncaring they seemed even though I almost bled to death,. There was no pre warning that a natural delivery could cause so much damage. Sorry for the rant but I hope to god that women’s health will eventually be a big priority in the future so other women don’t have to suffer the way I did/have and even if they do as long as they can get the help without being made to feel like an abomination and constantly told they are too young for this condition because it literally just adds to the self hate and embarrassment and shame. Love Raven from the UK x

Missed so much in this video. New to geriatric living. Discovering incontinence, too little, too late, too much, so late in my life. Surprised no male tutor. Avoided mention in anyway, on the internet, of the foreskin cleanliness, handling, etc. No mention of other options: pads, nappies, bottles of many types. No mention of costs in money, time, embarrassment, medical monitoring, etc.
