Must be a feminist. The average man, who is able to overcome fear, absolutely can kill a wolf with their bare hands. They may lose one of them or receive ife changing injuries.

Hi Ladies! I’m so glad that I found this video. As someone who is going through a midlife crisis, I thoroughly enjoyed your discussion on this topic. I laughed and cried, and found commonality. Our youngest left home a few years now. But the death of several female relatives that I was close to and thought we’d grow old together have me in a deep “blah” and confusing season. Thank you… I feel some sense of hope. ❤

Such a thoughtful conversation. As a child who felt neglected being raised in the 1980's left to my own devices, I WANTED to care for my children. Now, they are 18 & 14. We homeschooled them. Everyone has time to be alone but many routines we do together: clean, cook, shop, play games, walk, talk, help each other and so on. We can only run from evolution for so long before it takes a toll. I'd rather my children be emotionally healthy, connected and supported than striving for academic success and checking off boxes with their peers.

Here is another way to say that someone is too old to go trick-or-treating: You’re taking candy away from the little kids!

Can't stand the 'you're too old to go trick or treating!' like, its so much fun, free candy, costumes, and the sneaky excercise, but seriously hate when other adults want to hamper on my fun just because I'm 'too old' You're NEVER too old to enjoy yourself and have fun, without fun we'll all die young and miserable,

I work at a parent participation preschool that has been a part of the community for 40 years and the director with several staff members included myself have worked in this program for over 25 years. Your messaging reminds me of the great late Bev Bos. Thank you Dr. Wuori

Gratitude. You need gratitude. Fulfillment comes from being, not in doing. Feeling content from ANYTHING outside yourself is seeking external validation. You must be happy with simply existing. Anything else will lead to suffering. Be careful of those internal voices and those external messages from media, movies, social media, etc. Our culture encourages low self-esteem because it makes money for the powerful. It’s fair game but just stay aware of it. It also encourages the victim mentality for the same reason.

I tell my kiddos that it is ok to be angry, it isnt ok to take it out on others. Their dad taught them it was ok to put the responsibility of their emotions onto others. Now that he is not around anymore, I have to reteach them that they are responsible for themselves. As our kiddos grow, teaching them to be able to express themselves while being responsible for themselves at the same time is so important. I grew up the same it was ok to have good emotions, but we couldn't be angry.

Please take this as a suggestion, not a hurtful insult : The roller coaster of singing the sentences in the intro, ( instead of just reading normally) the up and down tones actually fries the brains of some adhd listeners. ( It's painful and distracting. ) Love dr k. Thank you both for the interview.

Thank you 🙏 What a beautiful way of describing current circumstances. Without protection from pain, we numb, and when we numb for long enough, it becomes disassociation and disintegration - we operate as an empty shell and fool everyone and ourselves. I’ve had the privilege to reintegrate, and deeply honour the protection, support and nourishment that will help all humans, esp the little ones thrive, grow, heal - such difficult work that you two have made a little easier 🐥 and i agree, our ancestors, even in death do so much to hold us if we give attention and tend that relationship - and our descendants too, physical and spiritual even before they are born 😄

Is that the case with under 12? I have a 9 year old. In your book, you say that at this age, you can and should set limits and stick to them consistently. Does this mean that we are aren’t going to do the weekly check-in and set boundaries with our children’s involvement until they’re older and in the post contemplation stage?

I am so so PUMPED!!! I cannot even tell you both that I have clung to this podcast like a life raft. I have a 4 year old and an almost 2 year old (girl and boy respectively). And WOW!!! The amount of information I have gleaned from your podcast as well as the incredible number of resources! I mean...wow... your podcast should be a number 1 staple in every mother's lives. I'm so glad I get to see you in person! (KZbin you know). I love love love love your content! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hey Ms.Amy and Margaret, I saw the videos on your channel. Your video content is excellent. To grow & increase the view of your channel you need to optimize your videos. Inspite all of your efforts videos are not being viewed. Video SEO Score is very low. The title, Description, and Tags are not SEO-friendly. Videos are not shared on Social Media platforms and many other problems are found on your KZbin Channel. If your channel is optimized a little and if the videos are SEO friendly then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. So immediately need SEO for your Videos & KZbin channel. Do you want to improve those problems and grow your KZbin Channel?
