I am a volunteer superintendent at a cemetery. We had someone driving in the cemetery hit a monument and split it in half. No one was seen doing it, nor did anyone initially step forward. We reported it to the local authorities. Our cemetery is likely like others: we aren’t responsible for damage by drivers hitting monuments. The cost to replace it fell on a 90 year old widow, for her husband’s grave. A year later, the driver came forward and confessed, out of guilt. It was a happy ending as we facilitated him privately contacting the widow, and quietly compensating her for the replacement. We were lucky

warming stations sound dope i wish they had cooling stations. went to the miami OH game and it was almost 100 degrees out. i blacked out either from my vertigo or heat stroke waiting for the band to march and the amazing fans and paramedics were helping right away. fan next to me was even a retired paramedic who was right over me when i came to. they insisted i go to the hospital but i talked them into letting me cool down in the the stadium medical room with a big bag of ice and some gatorade. made it to my seat to see the first play after kickoff. nd has such a dope fan base/community let’s get em tomorrow☘️☘️
