1/2" hammerdrill hole into rock...then metal shoe into hole with post attached
@wic.kedkool4 ай бұрын
Here's another idea and it's solid. Get a concrete bit about 1/2in. Drill holes in the boulder approx 5-6 holes and drive 1/2" rebar approx 12"in long into the holes, but leave about 7-8in" sticking out. Then get your post where you want it and put bigger rocks all in the hole, no dirt and then concrete it. It will be there longer than you will be. After the concrete dries, put dirt over top of it and that's it. We had to do this all over our farm. We only had about 24in of dirt till solid.

Drill a hole in the rock, then clear the hole, then insert some chemical sealant and a stainless steel rod. Screw a flat stainless steel plate at the top for the post to rest on. Bismillah

Concrete it in or concrete anchor bolts
@LachskoenigIV4 ай бұрын
Depends if you can drill a hole in that bolder. If you can, concrete anchors are amazingly strong. We regularly use 12mm concrete anchors in ceilings to lift up heavy machinery 500kgs+. A single one is enough for that. That would hold your post for eternity.
@jamesgarvey20904 ай бұрын
Whats your frost line? I would go as deep as the posts for the deck. It looks like you have a deep enough hole. Alternatively you could pour a concrete pad for the stringer to connect to.

Thats deep enough. Get the concrete tubes from lowes 8” wide, fill it with quickcrete flat on top. Then use the concrete mounts to secure to concrete Personally i dont go that deep anyway. 2ft is plenty

@michaeledwards82974 ай бұрын
You can drill thru the post and rock at an angle and drive rebar into it on as many sides as possible, it works really well, don't know how well it would in this situation with it being below grade, rebar will rust, could try angle brackets and some redhead concrete anchors

Caine Munity Rerun Bidens speech last night reminded me of an old Hollywood Classic the Caine Munity his message fellow democrats it's too late to change leadership, they are disloyal, undisciplined sailors, as said in defending himself in the Court Marshall inquiry. All sounded great by Bogart up until they asked him why the sailors had turned on him. Then it began to fall apart in the movies it's because someone ate his strawberries in his speech last night it's because of those MEGA people, so much to do so little time between the hours of 10 till 4 etc ,and i was told to space myself , the longer he speaks the less he makes sense, this is the most well rested person on the planet 6 month a year on vacations, does not talk with his staff or other government institution heads, long plane trips mean long naps. This is just not a question of irregular thoughts in his speech pattern but reflects a clouded mind trying to think but it stops working.

At what degree of incline would it become a column?
@Turbothrill34176 ай бұрын
@@StoneHouseHomestead Well it is a column because the ducks are forward facing in the line so it is a column from a 2 dimensional perspective. In three dimensions, your ducks would be in a row though.

For us simpletons, what on earth is this Mars thing?
@StoneHouseHomestead7 ай бұрын
On April 1st, Starlink pushed out a change to the phone app that controls the Starlink router, which shares an internet connection with wireless devices in the home, and the satellite dish, which trasmits and receives a radio signal from a satellite. This setting turned the normally black background of the application into a background of a Martian landscape. On April 2nd, Starlink turned it off. I found the setting to turn that Mars background back on and shared that discovery with KZbin.

It don’t matter is gas or oil if this happened often then there is a problem. . Several thing. Your coil might have a pin hole causing excess pressure. You fill valve Minh be passing bad tank , excess over heating , etc check all and never ever cap the relive valve . You be surprised what you see out there
@StoneHouseHomestead8 ай бұрын
These are good things for others to consider when facing similar issues. This past fall, I had a complete checkup on the furnace (boiler) and sub-systems. After maintenance and parts repair, the 24 year old system should be good for another 10 or more years. None of the replacement parts involved the pressure tank system or coil.

@@StoneHouseHomestead Keep supporting government regulating our lives in every detail, and you may need one someday.
@StoneHouseHomestead11 ай бұрын
If you live in the United States, there are still many States that have none to minimal regulation concerning personal property. We just sold our property in one of these States because we made the mistake of buying a property with an HOA. Eventually, the HOA was taken over by folks who didn't appreciate simple living and who thought the fix for everything was more fees and regulations . Many times, their argument for more fees and more restrictions was that the people who lived there for decades weren't appreciative of how much better the newcomers had made the community and how the fees and regulations were much less than where they came from. What they actually brought with them, besides the fees and regulations, were the same sniveling back biting culture they had left in the big city. 🙄
@pyongyangpython11 ай бұрын
@@StoneHouseHomestead I have never discovered any advantages of living within the boundaries of HOA controlled property. And, yes, there are states, and local governments that force less and less control of the personal lives of the people who live there. But, regardless of the level of control, taxes and regulations are all enforced by violence, which makes their enactment and implementation violence, also.
