I have the 27 inch Mongo attachment mulcher for my JD 50 G. I noticed in the video that you can’t lock your hydraulics on. I was just wondering how long it took you to get used to that cause it drives me nuts.

@@rngn2010 it’s not too bad. According to my dealer, I can have the computer sent back to Sany and upgraded (at no cost) and it will do continuous flow. They say it takes about 2 weeks, but I don’t mulch enough to fool with it right now.

It doesn't currently but according to my dealer it's an easy fix (software). I just haven't had a chance to take it in. This was the email from my dealer: "If your machine has the older software continuous flow wasn’t an option. The good news is it can be added. The bad news is to do it we will have to send your monitor back to Sany to have it flashed so you would be down a couple days"

Nice set up. I’ve been considering a fixed tooth mulcher for my kx040. But wasn’t sure if it would make sense to spend that much. These are cheaper and look like they do a good job. What’s your rate per hr? Around my neck of the woods average mini mulcher is getting 120-150.
@axplandmanagement633
@axplandmanagement633 Жыл бұрын
Thanks. We don’t do enough mulching to justify $20k+ on a fixed tooth. Having said that Mongo does offer a fixed tooth head now. They didn’t when we got ours. Don’t quote me on price but I think it’s around $14-15k. I have never really considered a hourly rate and bid it by the job.
