George Harrison, who was at least partially responsible for Mal’s LA romance that ultimately led to his death (suicide by Cop), showed the most class by visiting the family after Mal died and confessing his involvement in the affair to his wife. Paul on the other hand, never gave Mal the credit he deserved for input and writing credits on several important Beatles songs that Paul wrote. And he never mentioned Mal’s contributions in his book, Lyrics, either. John and Ringo just avoided the unpleasantness of his death. Sad that Mal wasn’t respected by them more.

Walk past there almost every day, had no idea it had any connection to George. That 1968 Morris Minor turning round behind you was quite a surreal moment too don't you think?

Mal was one of the first people to join the UK Elvis fan club and carried his card around with him.

Poor Mal. He gave up his own family just to be adjacent to the Beatles. As much as I love the Beatles, that’s a trade I’d never make. RIP Mal.

Anything about Liverpool can be interesting for Beatles fans, especially in other countries. By the way, when I visited the city in the 80s, I couldn't believe what I was hearing was English.
