34:00 '' My worth is not negotiable because Allah gave it to me" Subhana Allah that's so powerful reminder in a culture where women are not only considered disposable but arrogant and blasphemous if we go against the expectations to be a mule. Every time I hear 23:115 I think of the women carrying heavy loads on their backs and how they're being glorified as the only real women even by snot noses on the Internet who have never done any manual labour themselves. أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ عَبَثًۭا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ ١١٥ Did you then think that We had created you without purpose, and that you would never be returned to Us?”

MashaAllah a very good episode. I listened to the entire episode and I found it to be helpful as my divorce was finally legalized a few days ago. Your channel has great videos of different Muslims and their life perspectives and experiences with divorce that are quite helpful for those of us that are going through this tumultuous test of life. May Allah Almighty make things easy for us. May we do that which pleases Him, Ameen

This is oddly scary. Because I married young. I also felt disconnected from Allah(swt) for two years. Except during that time, my partner fell into worse addictions. He now is stuck in this addiction and I feel like if I was connected to Allah(swt), maybe he wouldve felt some guidance. And I decided to leave and then discovered I was pregnant. And then we lasted four years too. Subhanallah. I didn’t search for this video. It came to me in my darkest moment.

This story was unlike anything I've heard. Definitely coming back to listen to this when I feel hopeless. JazakAllah for having this platform and JazakAllah sister Sadia for opening up about your struggles. I love that you gave examples about how sometimes co parenting doesn't always work out. I'm trying my best with it but it's been hard to discuss anything with someone who want's everything to suit his schedule but not mine. This gave me comfort knowing not all divorced women have success with coparenting. Again, JazakAllah Khair!

Sister what you’ve done is commendable and as a desi Muslim woman, we all hold it together for the sake of families, in laws, and communities. We go out of our way to self sacrifice our happiness for the sake of everyone else and we loose out in the process. It’s not easy being in that kind of relationship for long term. At the end of the day, you can confidently say that you did your best till it ended. And you should be proud of that!

Growing up, almost all marriages around me were toxic and unhealthy. They would shout, yell, beat up, create kids one after the other and never separate. That led me to the idea to remain single. Wallahi but the pressure is overwhelming. Allah is allowing me to change the space now Alhumdolillah. <3 Imo, if you cant be like them, change your surroundings. Protect your Iman, and mental peace!

20:00 people get desperate because they want to protect from zina and also have children. Its very impractical especially in the west to stay a virgin for life with how sexualised the society is so it is natural for people to become desperate to fulfill their loneliness and biological needs by a certain age

I agree, feminism is not a 'sociological problem' among muslims. The Red Pill movement on the other hand is a huge problem that even non muslim women are trying very hard to combat. It doesn't belong in Islam either. Leadership is not a zero sum game. Everyone in the whole organisation is supposed to win.
