What would you have done differently?

@@honeylandjustin it just looked like you didn't know what you were talking about. You didn't give any strategy around PVP, you didn't know how to interpret the bees landform advantages. And you pointed us to a bunch of documents and told us to read through them. I didn't get anything out of this and I'm not even an expert.

Only way that can happen is if: 1) You previously raided someone and they "Revenged" you. 2) Your shield expired without you realizing it. Typically it's #1. I prefer to not Raid at all and after 6 days I automatically get free 24-hour shields. New changes coming to PVP in a few weeks that will improve it substantially.

How much money did you spend?

@@honeylandjustin purchased the beemuum account and spent about $30 on hxd to level up gen z bees, only to have them retire after 30 days. After seeing that, I wasn't going to spend over a hundred dollars on a gen 1 bee just to have it retire after 30 days. It's supposed to be play to earn, not pay to earn.

@@dripdropsdetroit1465 Thanks for the info. The bees extend everytime you upgrade them. In a few days we'll release the latest version which will remove the cost to hatch new GenZ bees. Should make it much easier to amass a swarm good enough to warrant getting some Gen3 bees (that match your Queens mood) and level up your earnings without breaking the bank.

@@honeylandjustin I appreciate your feedback. Getting rid of the cost to hatch gen z bees would be the best improvement you could make, in my opinion. I have several unhatched gen z eggs in my inventory. The reason I haven't hatched them is because it takes me 2 to 3 days to harvest enough hxd to hatch one of them, even when I match my bees by shared mood or shared likes. Also, I was leveling up my gen z bees from level zero, all the way to level 10 and maxing them out all at once, pushing the upgrade bee button ten times in a row. If I'm understanding what your saying correctly, it sounds like maybe I should only upgrade them from level 0 to level 1, let them finish their mission caps, and then level them up again from level 1 to level 2 and so forth. If I'm not misunderstanding you, would this make them last longer than 30 days?

@@dripdropsdetroit1465 Yeah so in a few days the new release will let you hatch every 48 hours at no cost. I was mistaken in my earlier comment - upgrading does increase Mission Cap, but not lifespan, but I guess with free hatches every 48 hours you'll continually have a good swarm. Check out @hltutor's channel on KZbin, he does a great job of going over the ins and outs of scaling in Honeyland from the Tutorial/GenZ.

U need to buy better bees and mood their queen

The tutorial currently makes you take the full 7 days to complete it - its changing soon. If you get some NFT assets, you can use them to go hunt/harvest on regular lands though while still within the first 7 days.

A good Queen makes a huge difference, so probably would focus on a good Queen first, then build the swarm around it based on their mood.

Hey David, you have to send them to a lower zone, probably Zone 1. You have to find them on the map and overtime you can upgrade your Bees' endurance.

A lot, BUT they've gone up a lot in value compared to what I paid. And more importantly, they continue to earn through playing!

There's a few custom bees that have specific themes. They are limited to 1 in the game, meaning it will be entirely unique and ultra rare, considering there is something like 120,000+ bees in the game.
