I just signed up for amazon business for trials 30days. But I think amazon seller is better than the amazon business prime. So as seller you buy your own product and ship it to amazon and let them sell your product, is that right? While amazon business prime need to purchase all the products from amazon to resell it? Correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks.❤

Yes you can. You just need to know the tax implications as a UK citizen. Maybe call CRA to ask. Amazon also have a program that you can automatically turn on from your US store and it will allow your products to be shown in the CA platform. They will ship the product once sold. It’s called remote fulfillment with Amazon.

I have a question. I started out as a freelancer and now I want to open a corporation so I can claim my returns and expenses. Will Amazon give me the money collected in taxes for the entire year or only after my company is available on Amazon? Those 5 months that I have been selling as a person and not as a company, will Amazon give me that money or not?

They only give the GST( sales tax) that they collected to you if you input your GST number in your sellercentral account. Before you had a GST in your account , they remit it themselves.

If you’re starting you may open a sole proprietor IN Canada. It gets complicated if you start opening business account in the US

If you’re selling in the US. You may start as a sole proprietor but register that business in Canada. Convert to corporation when your business is making good profit already
