Places in NC are still without power, water, and in so much need of generators, fuels, and warm clothing. Temperatures are dropping very low at night and so many have lost everything. My Dad was bit by a baby rattlesnake before it had any rattles. Bit him on the web of his hand. He had picked it up mistaking it for a non venomous rat snake. His entire arm swelled huge, thought it would burst. Made him so sick. They said getting bit by the baby is worse because they don’t know how to control their venom and just dump it all in one bite, where the adult rattler will bite release some venom then let go. Glad you guys didn’t face anything like that!! Living out in the country that could be a scary thing. Love y’all. ❤😊
