Same, its just pure business for scamvidia to release new gen of cards that dont bring anything special but this frame gen… only thing why i consider buying either 5080super(if it comes with 24gb) or 5090 is the AI speed boost because beside gaming my rtx 3090 burns for lot of AI apps, including new Text2Video engines like Hunyuan which drain 23GB of vram with ram offload easily. I wish Bang would do more benchmarks on AI apps like these. 5090 would allow me to do longer and higher res hunyuan videos but the humongous price will keep me off for a bit. Worth mentioning is that scamvidia did a Flux ( text to image engine ) comparison with new model that will come exclusively for 50xx cards.

Yeah but unless you need 24gb of VRAM for something else, the 3090 does not make much sense anymore for newer games, because its not powerful enough to utilize 24gb of VRAM. l truly think 16gb of VRAM is the sweet spot these days, and if, depending on the games you prefer and play, you run out of VRAM, l'd much rather reduce some settings and still have decent average FPS than having more than enough VRAM but subpar average FPS. That's why l think x090 series GPUs only make sense if you can afford to buy the latest one with each generation. Like at the moment 4090 is the powerhouse, but not for long, 5090 will take over, and be the new king, For now 4090 runs games fairly smoothly at max settings, but Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for instance, does not run that well on 4090 regardless of its VRAM, it's just not powerful enough. 5080 will most likely outperform 4090 with less VRAM, less power consumption, and smaller memory bus width, simply because of the newer tech like DLSS 4, MFG and faster memory. Sure, talking strictly pure rasterization, maybe it won't outperform it, but who cares, if moving forward, all games continue to rely on upscaling, frame generation tech and so on.

@@hasancreed248 Yeah don't skimp on your power supply unit. When 850W is reccomended get 1000W just to be safe when overclocking.
