Great tutorial! I haven’t done half hexagon epp but I’m definitely inspired. It’s nice to know how these go together. I often wondered whether to sew centre outwards or outer edge to centre. This tutorial gave clarity on that

I need ideas on how to sew up a four center hexagon diamond quilt. I see lots of this pattern with one center hexagon. But this quilt that I inherited is not finished and it has four centerpiece hexagon in each diamond. Do you have any suggestions or pictures that I could see, thank you so much for all your videos.

I stumbled upon your video for the Flat Back Stitch but so glad you brought up how to hold the needle. Because I have just started and I can not tell you how many times I had to RE-THREAD the stupid needle because I kept loosing the tail!! 😡 So frustrating. So I just need to pay attention to where I am holding and not let go of it. LOL😂

So pretty! I’m hoping you might have some suggestions for quilting 1” hexies. For the life of me I can’t get my stitches even/small enough. If I try to “rock” my stitching they are too big. If I try “stab” stitching my stitches are consistent in direction.

fiskars Hexie x-L SQueeze Punch are great to recycle all your junk mail postcard type paper into hundreds of hexies. Five-Inch square Charm packs can be cut easily into 2 1/2 squares. 1 five inch will make 4 squares to cover 4 hexie shapes. You can trim the corners later. ALSO, if you punch a small circular hole or heart in the center of the punched paper it will help easily release the paper/recycled postcard when it's times to pull out the hexie paper template with a small cuticle type stick

So cute. I like to use crushed walnut shells for stuffing, needles and pins don't get "lost" so easily and it sharpens instead of dulling them. Also, it makes it heavy so it doesn't move around.
