My son has taken my booth and worked out all the kinks, we have both on site printing and 5G connectivity and it’s been great for his confidence being a 16 year old I own a DNP myself. As for the issues, been at this since 2008 and I can tell you, these will always pop up. It’s how you deal with them that really counts.

All 100% on point. I’ve watched a few videos and I’m so impressed at how you carry yourself and I live by the saying that a success for a DJ is a success for the industry and bring likeable, relatable and approachable are so important in our industry.

Hi Tony. I'm looking at buying a used unit. Here in the UK it seems like not many were sold and not many are for sale used either. Was this replaced by the sc live2? It works with Beatport link, right? It looks to be WAY BETTER QUALITY than the sc live2..... Is it?

I hear this a lot from other DJs and being outside, there's no cover. Make it part of your setup. It's your gear and reputation. Bring umbrellas, tarps, canopies to protect yourself.

9 times out of 10 the couples should trust their DJ’s for the timeline for everything. I love how the Bride and Groom communicate to the Wedding Planner then the wedding planner says they will pas the info to the venue, Dj, & Photographer. They do but it’s usually about an hour or two before the event is going happen. Or they (WP) makes executive decisions

What’s wrong with the Best Par 50
@tonylackie
@tonylackie Жыл бұрын
Between all of my uplights, they're my least favorite...their brightness, and the way that they color change I HATE...they aren't very bright- and with mine at least...when I DMX them, and try to do color jumps or strobes- they ALWAYS FADE! It drives me crazy! I have checked the settings, went over the manual front to back multiple times, and even at one point go Rockville support involved in trying to help me correct it...they couldn't even help...and I do a lot of color jumps, and some weddings will do fast changes or lite strobes...with the best par 50's i can't...because they fade instead of jump.

Glad to see your back with the videos. Enjoy and appreciate it as I am always looking for ways to learn and improve. I've been attaching an umbrella for the last few years. Depending on your speaker, mine has handles that i attach squeeze clamps to hold the umbrella. Thanks for sharing. 🥰

Yes, I have done that in the past with an umbrella that clipped onto the tripod- I wasn't a fan of how it looked...but since this experience i don't care how it looks! If it keeps the gear safe, it keeps it safe.

Great ideas and great video. I went the extra cost of using Sennheiser transmitter and receiver G3 or G4 body packs for everything. That way you don’t have the big unsightly receiver and the body packs also transmit over a great distance. Crystal clear sound of course because they’re Sennheiser . If you want, you can even get Plug-in adaptors for really long nights where you don’t trust the batteries lasting. They work so well and you can stick them on the back using Velcro, so nobody even sees them sticking out from the top or hanging from the cord.

Have you had the opportunity to use the Alto Stealth system? If so how do you feel they stack up?
@oldschooldjernie

Hello and hope you are doing well. First of all you are like insane. That case must weigh a ton. Were you watching a vlog from Justin ? You will soon be having back problems with that boat anchor. The P2 already weighs 16lbs so all that crap you loaded into the road case will weigh it down a lot. Plus you went and drilled all kinds of holes in it. If I used the P2 I would get a sturdy soft case to cut down on the weight, keep your road case with all that crap you loaded in it, and plant the P2 on top of it with the top secured instead of being inside. It will increase the height so working will be easier o your back. If you are thinking about time management wire it up differently so it wont take that long. I use CDJs in separate cases and a mixer in a separate case. The mixer with case weighs 10lbs. the CDs weigh 26lbs each with case. take a couple minutes to wire up. Its a lot easier than hauling around a boat anchor. Just my 2 c Good luck!

they have pretty cheap tripods you can get for your iphone or whatever camera for $20,30. I use them and set the camera up and move it around in various spots so i get different angles, especially when i know im going to play some of the bigger bangers and more popular songs. You can also run output from the mixer to your video to capture audio directly from the computer.
