Cheers for showing your trip! My father-in-law has a havsfidra 20, which Im planning on freshen up, so I can sail it between Norway and Denmark in the summer time :) Maybe its a thing that will happen in spring 2026, but before that, I dream of sailing around in the norwegian south east coast in late summer 2025 :) Anyhow, want to watch more of your videos, this was the first that I saw, and I'm looking forward to follow your story! kind regards

Great, thank you. I have not been using it enough but hope to do so this summer. The engine is giving me some troubles, overheating, so I will have to solve that problem...

That’s a great looking little boat. At first, it reminded me a bit of the Nordic Halman 20 I owned years ago, but the Havsfidra is clearly a much prettier and more rugged boat. Would love to see how she is coming along now that she is once again in caring hands. That pretend “ wood” interior definitely needed to go! Great video and adventure!

I bought a Nordica 20 & thought that you might be documenting your refit - my boat is a cousin of the Hvstrida - there must be a lot of Havstrida, Nordica & Halman owners with boats of this vintage. I hope sharing info & experiences would be interesting to quite a few owners. Might you be willing to do that. Adrian

Hi, is there some progress? This autumn I’ve not renew my Havsfidra, but made bowsprit, wind-vane, furling and now total revision of engine. Check-list still looks too long. 😊

Gil.... just catching up on these videos and adventures with the new boat! Glad you pointed me here from your radio prepper channel! This will be fun! My dad retired to a boat and sailed from MA, USA to Trinidad and Tobago and lived there on his boat for many years. I learned just how harsh the elements are on a boat and that they need constant love and attention. Looking forward to your adventures!
