Question for you. Do you have to remove the whole grill go get to the hood latch connector or can you get to it by just removing the top screws? Would it move just enough to be able to get in there without breaking anything?

Been a while but I believe you can loosen enough to get to it if you unloosen the two actual latch bolts.
