Admiral Nagumo was old school: he didn't throw the Japanese naval fleet to finish off what his plane fighters started, and he didn't believe much in aerial attacks. Now, Soviet spy Richard Sorge deceived the Japanese into attacking the Americans instead of the Soviet Union, history was written and sealed with a bait...

We Finns, never give up, nor do we want some bullshit clickbaits. You managed to fill 1/7;th of the video with pics, and the rest with guys with scopes and one with a bayonet on his rifle. And, Ruzzians thought snipers from Finland, climbed up in the trees, and called them , cuckoos. Häyhä was not, "spotted" by someone, he was wounded during an assault! Shot in the left cheek, with a exploding bullit. By the way, I have the book of Häyhä;s life. ( If you had bothered to read it, yes, in English): Nowhere there, is the number of 139 killed one night! He did not, shoot under night time, that would have been a suicide! Ruzzians would have seen the muzzle flame! 😵💫 The temperatures were from -30C to -40C! Get the facts right or out from Tube. Here you got my opinion concerning your "facts", of a Legend! from a Finn in Diaspora

With the relentless support of the USA/UK, Stalin came back in 1944 and finished of the part of Finland he wanted, which is now part of Russia and owned by Putin, thanks to USA/UK.
@peabase2 ай бұрын
Stalin wanted _all_ of Finland, but he wanted Berlin more, and couldn't justify the disproportionate losses and the delays that forcing Finland to accept an unconditional surrender would've caused. To his eternal shame, Churchill backed Stalin in all of this, even to the point of symbolically declaring war on Finland to please Stalin. Churchill, ever the colonialist, didn't care for the independence of the Baltic states either, as he ignored his very own Atlantic Charter, which should've assured their independence. The US has less helpful in appeasing Stalin (for instance, by declining to declare war on Finland despite Stalin's pleas), but it's fair to say it was lukewarm about preserving freedom and democracy in Finland. It's good that both have since abandoned their 'might is right' approach. Only Russia remains.

The publisher of this has no idea what Simo did and how he did it ! The most important thing is to take a copy from someone else and publish it as your own . Golding things isn't reality, but getting viewers is the thing, that's the only real thing on the tube Simo defended his Motherland in his own way . Thank you to ALL Winter War Veterans. The publisher has no idea where the Kollaa`s frontline has been and what these men defended at the cost of their own lives . IT is called INDEPENDENCE ! Kuulehaistasinäpitkäpaskanäkemyksines!i

My father and his 2 brothers were partisan snipers in WWII. Young teenage boys. They killed Germans, Italians and domestic fascists with extreme prejudice for 5 years. My father survived the war, his brothers did not. My father turned to alcohol for depression. He was a bad husband, and bad father. He could never let go of his past. He could not forget the atrocities he saw or took part in.

The same combination of words can refer to various things. "White death" was the nickname given to *Häyhä by the Soviets. His brothers in arms called him "Simuna".

@hansslagter53662 ай бұрын
@@hannuliedes4001 And how do you pronounce that in Finish Lingo?
Post-death letters and docs from Simo recovered by family are quite interesting as well. It really shows he lived in a enviro where braggarts where not tolerated. So he kept to himself some of the war time things including kills not mentioned earlier until found in written documents. It really is so that it is very hard to truly determine how many died by the hand of this one man. And then his rifle: Conflicting records what happened to it when it was lost. A collector may have it, or not. Seems unlikely to me it is the real one. Who knows there might be a true relic still out there in the wilderness that has taken the lives of so many.

The Turkish Cypriots minority ,were never been in danger, or threatened by the Greek Cypriots majority. Only , when they actually took the arms against their own state, our common state The Republic of Cyprus. Back in time from 63-67 . Unfortunately, their politicians ,and after the end of their arm troubles they was created, they were still holds them in their ' gettos " they were enslaved. On july 1974 ,we had a coup against our loyal government, been created and donned by the Junta in Greece, through the local Cyprus army leadership and military officers along with local Greeks criminals. That move ,gives to Turkey the chance to finally put a step on the island

This legendary idiot had only one obsession: the destruction of Germany. He bullied Chamberlain into a war path, against a German government offering peace. Thr price of winning: selling out to Roosevelt losing the Empire, and to Stalin losing East Europe , particularly Poland thr original cause of the war (Danzig's self determination). The result? Britain bankrupt, Europe destroyed and its civilization undermined. But didnt he stop the holocaust?

I am not sure if this is voiced by AI. Churchill was British and so the report should use the British terminology. First of all in the UK the Rank Churchill was is pronounced "Leftenent" not "Lootenent" and Churchill was made Chancellor of the Exchequer, not a Finance Minister as stated here.

IMO, a pathetic attempt to be "relevant" and "uncover" anything about Pearl Harbor ... and as such, you've completely missed the mark. Most of the pictures are stock footage and have NOTHING to do with December 7 1941 and your narrative brings up NOTHING new, interesting, or "uncovered truth" ... I'd suggest you keep your day job ...

Poor quality. Showing several clips over and over and the use of a computer generated voice. Bad form. From a historical perspective, the roots of the US entrance into the war as a result of the Pearl Harbor attack is not correct. The source of Japanese anger with the United States goes back to the Spanish-American war. As a result of that war, the United States took possession of the Philippines. At that time, Japan was building up it's military and saw the Pacific as their domain and didn't want a western power infringing on what they considered to be their sphere of influence. Pearl Harbor was the spark that began the war, yes. But, the real start of the conflict goes back to 1898.

Stalin didn`t stop anything. He made a deal with nazis how to divide Europe between them. He had killed most military officers, so Soviet had no know-how or people to train new groups. When nazis start invasion, Stalin went in his room to drink vodka for a week. Well, allies, mostly USA send help, and that is how Soviet survive. And off course Hitler was also stupid dictator, just like Stalin. So he also make huge mistakes. Allies later agreed that they fight against wrong enemy. While allies freed West-Europe, Soviet take control and join those free nation to part of communist dictatorship. It`s all in free internet, so not in China, Vietnam, South-Korea or Ruzzia. Or similar third world countries.
