I can't believe I missed this when it came out! watching the team talk so optimistically about a game that, in my opinion, totally crushed it, makes me really happy. this whole video makes me stupidly emotional - I can't wipe this big dumb grin off my face. thank you for making something so funny, heartfelt and creatively engaging. i'm so, so incredibly grateful that Psychonauts 2 was able to make it, because I love replaying it every once in a while just to experience it all again

I picked this up when it came out, worried if my pentium 75 processor could hack it. I loved this game, i played it, up to a point, it became a movie, so smoothlyi wen't through the sections. At one point i wanted the story on tape, so decided that i would record a play session, seeing i knew what to do when and where, it became an audio adventure that i could listen too, when ever i wanted, when i was AWFK.. Great story, great characters, fantastic voice cast.. ten outta ten! glad it got remastered, so i could replay the game again on current tech. and even happier, that the voiced weren't changed up, because a reason this game was so great was because the fantastic voice acting! RRRripburger, you're dumber than dirt!.

First saw this game being demoed in a CompUSA. I was a fairly new Mac user back then, and i was so pissed that the Mac didn't have games like this. It wasn't until about a year later that they had a Mac port available. I snagged it and played it to death! Great game for a then much-younger me!

I'm curious why that cigar disappears before the end of the intro. In the original intro, while the stills were not as expansive, there was indications that he had the cigar in his mouth throughout.

Still come back to this. Tim Schafer is still my hero

Broken Age is such an endearing sort of game and it's a pleasure to look at the process of this long journey. Excellent work, Double Fine and everyone who had a hand in this sweet charmer!

This documentary was already amazing due to the depth of behind the scenes inner workings of the game's development, but it happening during covid makes it doubly important. I'm getting anxious seeing it all unfold again.

Just noticing that they use ONE SHOT from a meeting that they probably filmed in its entirety makes me incredibly grateful to 2 player for sticking with this. The amount of work on and off camera must have been overwhelming at many times.

Interesting that Dave gets the most guff for the car washing puzzle, because I came into the solution for that sideways, and when the joke about it causing rain happened I was delighted and laughed the hardest I had at anything else in the game. I guess if you know the adage it works super well, but it's a shame others can't enjoy it in the same way. Maybe all it needed was a callout line earlier in the game, so if not a common cultural 'meme', it's at least a callback to something the player had seen.

Career-wise, this is the most important video I've ever watched in my life.

I really wish they'd done more coverage of the voice acting beyond just the celebrity guests. I would've loved to hear from the VAs for Sascha or Milla, or even Richard Horvitz himself about stepping back into these roles after so long.

I've watched plenty of speed runs before, but I have never seen one where senior staff of the game watch and react to it in real time. Absolutely loved the format of this, and it was great to share in the shock and awe of what Edgar was able to do! Great video.
