Emergency situation would be my guess, using the tail hook to catch the arresting wire to slow down. I noticed there was no air brake on landing, must have been coming in kind of hot...

emergency practice and training for the ground crews and the pilots also training to do it on a carrier.

@@seansean9675F-15s don't do this for training, because it damages the airframe. They also don't go on carriers. This is used in an emergency situation.

@@seansean9675 Thanks for having a guess and the first two points are probably correct but I don't think F-15 pilots train to land F-15's on carriers.

Back in 2017, a pilot punched out of this tail number on departure from Ellington Field in Houston. It was shipped off to Belgium for repairs. Five years later, you can't tell that anything ever happened. Hats off to the crews who got her flying again!

6 raptors could defend a whole country, I wish they put the no sale sign on the F35's as well as F22, we have to keep the edge on technological advanced fighters, allies aren't always going to stay allies. 🇺🇸

Seven nations helped develop the F-35. Turkey is already testing their version. We just fast tracked the world into stealth technology. The U.S. has never done a good job protecting it's technology but somehow managed with the F-22 after twenty-five years. A squadron of F-22's will maintain air superiority to this day. It's very impressive considering the advancements with sensors etc..

They move slowly when not going Mach 2.25 The best air superiority fighter in the world. No plane even comes close. First flown in 2003 but software updated multiple times as well as other upgrades. Much of this plane is classified.

read about what it takes to be a IAF pilot. the creme de la creme. one of the best in the world. also teaches allies tactics learned by actual combat. USA planes are local modified to perform much better.
