Everything you said is true but there's a downside to this it's to the league overall basketball fans will stop going to games. Financially that's devastating. If you look at the stock of basketball it's not looking well.

In terms of playmaking , Luka undoubtly the first man in NBA. His court vision definitely better than Haliburton. Though Hali 's assist figure is the number one in NBA. That because Hali is the PG who put pass as the 1st priority.

Not making the play offs last season, seems to have been great for the Mavs. It allowed them to get Lively who's been awesome for them this season and with the new additions, we'll probably see even more of Luka's playmaking ability. The last few games have showed us a lot and Luka's a definitely top 3 player if not number 1 right now. If the mav's can get within the top 4 in the west, it's gotta be Luka's MVP which will cement his place even further

Not "better" than Jokic, but equally good in a different style. Luka is score first, Joker is pass first. Both are good rebounders and great passers. Neither plays much defense, but pick their spots to make an impact. Last night they combined for 63 / 24 / 26 (Luka shooting over 50%, Joker shooting 100%). There is no question they are #1 - #2 in the NBA. It's not even close.

Luka assists 9.6 Jokic assists 9.1 per game, Luka this year ico defence 10th in the league post up defence 2nd in the league , finished last game against Suns with 4 steals too Luka average 34 points wile being most doubled teamed player in the league so i would say Luka better player then Jokic

@@tadaskalanta9733 strictly by the offensive numbers, Luka has the advantage, what Joker has a big advantage in triple- doubles, team wins, and the greatest single performance in NBA playoff history last year. I couldn't wait either of them over the other because they both have spectacular numbers and are carrying their respective teams. But if you feel he's the best that's perfectly logical, I just wouldn't say that. Also, Joker has not only the two MVPs and the finals mvp, most NBA players say he's the best player in the world. That doesn't make it so, but it's part of why I find it so hard to choose between them

@@SDesWriter Well if we think about it Jokic tripple doubles 20 points vs Luka who is average 34 points almost tripple double , last game against Suns 41 points 10 rebounds 9 assists , so almost 41 point tripple double i think way better then 20 -12-10 , so Jokers 20 point tripple doubles compared to Lukas stats not that impressive to me , greatest single performance ? was it greater then Lukas 60-20-10 in a win dropping 9 points in like less than a minute ??? dont think so or was it greater than Lukas 73 this season? to me is Luka

I agree with everything but that they dont play defense. Jokic is average C defender by now and Luka has been good defender this season, even looking amazing lately since they got size around him. That being said Joker is having like top5 multy year peak all time right now. The fact that Luka is right there being only 24 is insane. People dont realize it but this is goat trajectory, depending on team success later on in his career.
