Craziest part of this song is thar Mark was unsatisfied with the original take so when Weird Al asked if he could parody the song he said only on one condition: That he could play on it. And eventually he got a take exactly how he REALLY wanted it.

Nice to see someone else playing it way up in the 9th position like me. Whenever I see EE play it live he plays everything but the ending climb way down the neck at 4/5.

This song is amazing in all aspects.Bass lines,George riffs and solo,Lennon on Piano and absolutely awesome duet by john and Paul...And Ringo,of course that Perfect drums.

I think you got the tone quite well. But what's not there yet is the fluid and melodic progression of the notes the way you're playing them. Of course, few can duplicate the mastery of a Mark Knopfler playing.

Legos didn't have cool stuff like that when I was a kid. We were lucky we got wheels. 😂

@@anthonyparkernearlifeexp What? Legos have been around since the '30s. You age very well. Love your vids. Been playing sax since '75 but the bass is my passion. Thanks for covering Chris Squire, he's the GOAT.

I've played this in many bands as a drummer. If you can't control it , the band can't follow it. It really is a song where we the drummer Keep it together! Sorry guitar players this one's ours!!!
@scottschabel737215 сағат бұрын
This arrangement is far from complicated. It’s just the timing of the drums that makes it appear that way. Any half decent garage band can figure this out. You want to look at a difficult song, study Stairway.

Sorry to nitpick, but I think you should check your intonation or fret level or something, 'cause for some reason your 6th string seems to be a bit sharp when you fret. Might be tuning but for some reason it's especially noticeable when you're in the 3rd position compared to open strings...
