What is the smallest size nodule this AI can detected compared to a radiologist? Radiologists usually cannot detect nodules that are < 10mm on an x-ray so by the time lung cancer shows up on an xray, it’s too late. Low dose CT is great but it increases one’s risk if it’s done for decades. It would be great if an x-ray were sufficient for early detection.

Great conversation. Key challenge with TB screening among prison inmates has to do with making sure they remain on treatment even after being discharged from prison. Linkages with treatment centers outside the prison for treatment continuity has been a serious challenge in developing countries. In other words, it is not enough to just screen and detect; we must do everything possible to ensure that newly diagnosed TB cases are put on treatment and remain so until the end of treatment. Health Through Walls are doing great work in this area. What is their experience with treatment continuation after discharge of inmates? Have their been any Treatment Outcome evaluations for this group of inmates?

Loved it! I have a question. As you said false positive can be dealt with but false negative is problematic. But what do you do when there's a false negative? How can the radiologist be notified?
