Steven, I'm trying to improve my trading skills and I found your videos very helpful. And you look like my brother when he was teenager. I've been trading almost a year now and not profitable yet. I start with 2k personal account now. I was 9 days straight green and my acct over 5k and then I lost it all and break even.

With that kind of sizing due to account size, are you adding swing trading, multi day runs? That MS to MR 26 to 56 range pretty well established over the last few years played into a channel for the MEME ticker. Good job, I'm surprised at your sizing 80 k, I don't trade large size but grabbed shorts off of those 56 hits, the second one sat idle at the 48 again and provided another 48 short swing back to MS 26/28. Well done, multi day runs off or from MS/MR work well for me swinging, most times it continues in the direction trending. Must be my favorite ticker for initial volatility moves then smooth channels.

Been wanting to short DJT myself all week but I'm caught up in TSLA & QUBT plays ~ waiting for fever to break on TSLA and for QUBT to roll over... Already had most of my short position comin into the front side of QUBT so I was lucky it only ran 400% and I didn't get margin called. Watch all your videos multiple times Steve. Love the way you trade ~ you are the best.

how do you swing so many shares? I end up getting killed with the borrow rate. or do you particularly target tickers with low borrow rates? Secondly how do you find shares to swing easily? I'm using DAS trader pro through centerpoint and the route to locate swing-able shares are usually dry.. any recommendations on a better broker to help swing? Thanks again!!

Yup, totally agree with your assessment. Another thing I try to avoid is shorting stocks that get strong in mid-day, especially low float. These guys can keep squeezing, and I've found that you should wait until power hour to watch for it to break down, potentially. When float is so low, the dollar volume doesn't really matter anymore, and it's more about time of day for the breakdown. And I also noticed those Biotechs that stay up in the air, elevated. Those china stocks are tempting as well, because sometimes the locates are cheap, and that gambling mindset comes in when it's up so high. But even with small share size, this can put you underwater fast, with no guarantee of breakdown. Hopefully 2025 will have more opportunities -- if you are short biased, you gotta do things that other shorts are not willing to do, in order remain profitable, and that is patience.
