I first saw this on Amazon Prime Canada years ago when I was binging British tv series. It is no longer streaming there, so you've done a real public service with posting these episodes, thank you!

Listened to this on a re-run last night on Radio 4 extras comedy show. What a gem. A fitting tribute to John Peel and all the Radio presenters that keep us company through the years like no other media does. A cameo mention of Tommy Boyd for example reminded me of the school years I'd lie awake listening to Tommy, James Whale and Ash, and Ian Collins and the creatures of the night. Hopefully there will always be a place for Radio. Thanks John, and John

Brilliant show, just tried to make a video reviewing the show. I will leave links to the episodes on your channel in my description! Thanks for this fantastic show. The themes used are very relatable as a teenager/ young adult as myself. I felt when starting it, it is a risky choice to do just the one series but it was perfectly executed and very enjoyable.

I just heard of this Sitcom by chance tonight. I like the Velvet Underground and Peter Doherty but didn't know he'd covered the aptly titled 'After Hours' track. I don't know if I'm gonna rate this though. Only 1,338 views and 12 likes:/ I'm assuming it's not so highly regarded, but if only for the soundtrack I'll give it a go. British comedy hasn't impressed me for years now. I liked the police drama 'Line of Duty'. I'd recommend that to anyone. To Americans and all Anglosphere citizens especially, and the torrents are easily downloadable on 'The Pirate Bay', or similar sites. I actually watched the latest season (season 5) in it's entirety before the first episode had even been broadcast on the BBC:) It's their programme too, so it wasn't shown on another channel first. It must have been leaked by an insider, I imagine. P.S. The political bias of the BBC is enough to make the license fee an insult and an extortion of the already heavily taxed natives of this dying island. DON'T PAY IT! Find ways to watch what is valuable from the BBC but without falling foul of their press-ganging style payment demands. If enough of us decline to buy a license and the BBC understand that it's because so many of us hate the now unavoidable leftist/post-modernist/intersectional political propaganda, I think they'll feel financially obligated to revert to a more neutral format. I truly believe they did broadcast in a pretty fair and impartial manner just 30 or 40 years ago, but over the last 10 - 15 years the direction the BBC has taken has alienated all but the most gullible, herd mentality types, the egalitarian idealogues and apparatchiks who often resemble the presenters and programme makers anyway. We need a state broadcaster 'for the many, not the few', so shouldn't the Labour party be labouring on this issue and attempting to reorder and redesign our only nationalised media institution?
@haltonarp85664 жыл бұрын
Fucking unbelievable. Yes the BBC once did aspire to some sort of political neutrality. Most importantly it could be relied upon to tell something like the truth. But with the return of Labour to social democratic decency the BBC has ceased to be distinguishable from the Murdoch media, pumping out endless lies and pro fascist bullshit.

thanks soo much for uploading after hours, I really hope the series comes back to TV or if not Sky then Netflix, it had a really good indie and very authentic capture of Britain in the series and really loved Jamie Winstone in this, I look forward to seeing her in more good films or tv series and the same goes for Georgina Campbell who I think along with other black British actors is underused. actually discovered this show when trying to find things she was featured in after seeing her in one of my favorite episodes of black mirror. really hope this comes back, would've loved willow to have gotten with the bartender hehe! :)
