As the game was released in 2004, so it's a lot more simplistic than games of today. Much like in other duels on this channel, some moves may seem odd at first, but they're actually meant to influence Kaiba to play in a very specific way. The game’s mechanics make it so that your moves and what you play subtly affect Kaiba’s behavior and the flow of the duel, even though some card draws are predetermined. Think of it like playing on multiple levels - there’s a deeper strategy unfolding throughout the entire match. Each action isn’t just about winning but about setting up a chain of events.

Although it is pretty much abandonware at this point and personally I don't see any issue with letting others experience it, I know KZbin would take issue with it if I was to post links to a download and potentially Konami if it got their attention due to our in my opinion very outdated copyright laws. Unfortunately this game was only ever released on physical disc, though I'm sure copies of it are archived somewhere on the internet despite this. Wish Konami would release this again like maybe on Steam as then it'd be more accessible to everyone.

It is a glitch among many others in this game I've shown in previous videos on the channel. Still hoping some day Konami releases the Power of Chaos series games for modern systems with some bug fixes.

I'm using Arch Linux and running it with WINE, but it should work with any Windows operating system from XP onward.

What do you mean? I thought they were pretty good at the time as they would run on almost anything all the way down to a Pentium 3. Sure there are bugs with the AI, but it was a big step up from the previous games like Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories.

Probably, that the AI was somewhat rigged. But the games were awesome anyway

@@elimprastowo4223 Oh, that's from Premature Burial at 1:38 when he sets on the field Blue Eyes White Dragon from the graveyard. What you're seeing at 1:49 is when he flip summons it. Premature burial allows us both to set one monster from our graveyard onto the field.

Konami has changed the rules a lot over the years. During this era, you could have between 40 and 80 cards with some cards being limited to 1, some being semi limited to 2, and a max of 3 copies of the same card in a deck.

Maybe at the very beginning but ygo was never balanced. There were broken strats/decks even back then, only difference was we were dumbass kids 😂😂

Yugioh was never balanced, remeber change of heart? Pot of greed? Gracious charity? The game was never balanced and even today theres plenty of old cards banned or limited aka change of heart
