C's fan here, but not here to hate. Try not to take anything I'm about to say personal, it's just some pointers to help you out. First things first, I think you need to up your understanding of the game. I'm not saying you don't know anything, but @SrealG kind of laid it out. Here's a better example for you, from what I saw of that series, my constructive attempt at non-biased criticism of the Cavaliers (without resorting to name calling). I could easily say Garland shot like trash, Mobley was bullied in the paint & wasn't smart enough to make simple decisions leading to dumb indecisive moments on offense, Levert and Strus were inconsistent as all hell, and Okoro had Fultz's yips. Instead, JB is being adequately blamed for not doing more to put his players in a position to succeed. Mobley taking forever on offense is kind of on the coach - maybe get rid of his reads on motion offense, so he's cutting more or screening away, or something... not just continue to let him be indecisive. Same with the rest, offensive schemes won't eliminate those issues I said in my example, but can mitigate some of it. Shots not falling when they're wide open definitely isn't on him, but for sure JB deserves some of the blame. You can criticize a player or team, objectively, without being such a homer. Secondly, now, if you're hellbent on being a homer, it's alright to praise your guys without the negative feedback of the opposing team. Think of it like any of the team announcers. If the other team hits a shot, you can just matter-of-fact state it without much enthusiasm... then bring the energy when your team makes it. C's lost to the Heat last year, the Dubs the year before that; happy for them and their fans. Would I wish it was my team, of course, but I'm not gonna rain on their parade. Stop with the fake stat line statement. That's just randomly dismissive and a horribly bad take. Anyway, let me end with this. Not to promote another channel, but you should see MattydubsCeltics channel to get an idea of how to be less biased against the other team. Best of luck to you.

Victim mentality: Blame the refs. Fans get upset when refs interject themselves to decide the end of games. When the refs let them play, they get upset that the refs don't interject themselves. The refs didn’t stop Lowry from calling a timeout before inbounding the ball. The refs didn't stop him from missing two free throws in the quarter. The refs didn’t stop Maxey from holding/cradling the ball and calling a timeout instead of trying to pass it between opposing player's legs(?) The refs didn’t stop the Sixers from getting the most important defensive rebound of the game. The refs didn’t stop the Sixers players from guarding a shooter on the three point line that was open for the second consecutive time(!). The refs didn't stop the Sixers from not getting the offensive put back after Maxey's layup was blocked. There are 5 or 6 breakdowns in the last minute the Sixers had and they all cannot be blamed on refs. What did the opposing team do in the last minute of the game? Hit a three pointer, deny the inbound pass (dare the refs to call a foul), get a steal, get the offensive rebound, make another three pointer, block a layup and secure the defensive rebound, hit two clutch free throws. I've been watching the NBA for 35 years. That's winning basketball.
