What do if a host claiming damage that I didn’t do (such has the bed frame) and requesting a huge amount of money ? But I don’t have any evidence that I didn’t break it !

We only make money when our clients make money :) We work with homeowners directly, so they are responsible for their mortgages. Hope this helps!

Love all of this advice. Thanks for making the video! Agree with all of these points. I only have one property, it’s near Yellowstone NP and it’s only a 1 bedroom. One of the big things I’m doing for next year is I hired an awesome cleaning company and got all set up on Turno, excited for the stress to be relieved of my precious cleaner not communicating, taking photos, missing cleanings, etc. I enjoy your content!

Maybe where you live ma'am. I live is a small town called Burdett, NY. Every house used to have a family in it, now i can drive down main street and point out 9 houses that are now air bnbs purchased by people from NYC. Watkins glen had a similar issue til they abnned all new air bnbs within village limits. Im not against air bnbs per se, but they are turning my small town into a camping area pretty much

The fact that you’re not able to: 1. Identify a party as it’s happening 2. Respond to neighbor complaints within 30 minutes 3. Have noise detection and camera instruments to know a party is going on These are basic good hosting practices. The fact is, u inconvenience a neighbor. These communities are not local theme parks. These are people’s homes.

Airbnbs are basically hotels and should never have been allowed in residential zoned areas. They are a commercial use. Residential Zoning laws are what keeps someone from opening a movie theater, a car wash, or a HOTEL next to someone’s house.

Not only has the AirBnb industry distorted the RE market beyond believe many times the also destroy the neighborhood. All this only works with 0% interest and higher homes prices forever and ever. At some point this RE cash cow is going to end because incomes can't support it. It's not a panic if you are the first one out the door.

That may be true if you have no experience and blindly walk into setting up a STR. Just like with almost any investment, no knowledge or experience will likely lead to a bad outcome. Well-run STRs do not have a negative impact on the neighborhood... they're often the best kept properties! It's the poorly-run STRs that tarnish our image .

Wait till you get a felon that has a warrant arrest… Happened to a friend of mine. SWAT team was called to do the arrest. The tear gas they used caused 100k in damages. Chemical weapons are ban in military use, but residential? No problem.
