First of all, your videos are AMAZING. And I would like to ask for your help. Im in my first year of Architecture, Urbanism and Building sciences. Im designing a big tower with a 3m spiral ramp with a 3,6 degrees angle from the ground (wheel chair accessible), around a radius of 6,5 open space in the middle. The height of the tower can max be 20 meters so it was a puzzle. Inbetween the inside and ramp of the building I have a diagrid structure of steel colums of 273 mm with 20 mm thickness, and the pathway consists out of rectangular steel beams of 250 x 100 x 20 mm. Inbetween the beams there is a special walkable glass which is thicker with different layers to 3D tell the story of the surroundings, kinda like a museum. The building is all open. My teachers told me see through fabric would be nice on the outsides, to make people on the ramp feel more safe and make it more interesting (aparently). Now, I have absolutely NO idea how to make all this in Archicad. I have managed to make a ramp of 200mm going up to 18m, but im stuck. Its not even the thickness I need (glass is 60 mm) and I dont know how to make the diagrid structure (60 degrees) of 6 columns going left and 6 colums going right. I dont know how to do the 60 angle, while making it curved along the insides of the pathway. It would also be nice to aligh the perpendicular beams with the crossings of the diagrid columns but I just lack knowledge. Structural detail design is also a disaster 🤣 Do you have any advice for me? Or can you help me? Id completely understand if its a no, but i thought it was worth a shot 🤗 have a good day!!!
