There are a few options. One is a grant and one is a different loan correct. I have found each lender has different options.

I lived in Chetek as a kid back in the '60s. Don't know if boaters can still do it but back then there was a navigable channel between "Mud Lake" (as us locals called it/"Ojaski Lake" if you were a tourist) and Prairie Lake. That allowed you to circle the entire chain by boat. Don't know if that channel has filled in with reeds these days. It was not that deep.

I LOVE Balsam Lake. Will never leave. We used to live right across from the post office right up the hill in the old blue house.. we bought a new place on the outter edge of Balsam... we're literally the last address of Balsam lake out that way... bought an old creamery (built in 1900) currently living in and renovating at the same time. I love it out here!

It’s an underrated part of the Yellow Lake chain, more weedy but you can catch a lot of fish here. The new Bridge they put in has everyone fuming but it gives us a chance to fish some good forage for bass and you sometimes get some slop walleyes. This is where I need to spend more time.

This place is my family heritage. The Herzel camp is where my grandpa lived, his stepdad stocked the first walleye into that lake. That’s my family’s starting point in Burnett County for me.

My grandpa’s family lived where the Herzel Camp is now. His stepfather got some of the first walleyes if not THE first into that lake. I love the place I plan to go back with a full day to work it

@@benwheelerrealtor another fun fact back when The Rec was Ike Waltons, I think in the 40’s Harry Pursel Sr and his family worked at the lodge and it used to be one of the best duck lakes in the county next to Bass Lake. There was a wild celery patch in front of Ike’s and before everyone started duck hunting they used to flock in by the millions. And since nobody fished during the fall it was the best time to hunt. Both of these lakes are a major part of my life.

We had a cabin here my whole childhood ❤ I remember one year there were jellyfish in the lake! We loved the sand bar.

I grew up going to Yellow Lake. Stayed between the 2 lakes across the street from the bar. Is the other restaurant you were talking about at Ike Walton's? On the big lake... I love it there so much other than all the Trump BS lol. I've been there almost 30 times over the years, I even have a tattoo of the lake map on my side. I love it there. I saw a giant Sturgeon going from big to small lake while I was trying to catch a walleye. Looked like it was tagged, at least 5 foot long. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
