The fact that they absorb about 50x as much force as a regular back protector. It kinda makes it a no brainer, if you have the cash.

1:19 There's a lot of landmarks up north too, but people are less aware of them. Look up Helgelandskysten. 2:03 Not all, but most. 3:18 Blackfly is a form of gnats, not mosquitos, and yes, they're a bother... 4:24 Technically 112 is just the police. Ambulance is 113, fire department is 110. And people that's hard of hearing or deaf can use 1412. That said, calling 112 or any of the other numbers will still get you help if it's the wrong number for the service in question as they all communicate with each other and can share information. But yeah, if you're injured 113 has operators trained to deal with your issues.

How much was for a 350 bike ?
@miguelgoncalves65637 ай бұрын
Just let me reinforce one of your points: - take a potent chill pill before you get on the road and try to remember how your grandmother drives. Norway could be a motorcycling Mecca if they weren't obsessed with speed limits. The police is vigilant and the common people play along with those unacceptable limits. I have no wish to ever return by road.
@norseman50416 ай бұрын
If the speed limits are unacceptable, Norway is not for you. You better go somewhere else, if you speed, they will get you. Either by mobile police enforcement or cameras. This country is governed by a lot of laws to keep people in check, personally I don't like it and whenever I visit Norway (my home country) I feel a bit struck by KGB style of policing and big brother is always watching. No wonder the entire nation is drunk in the weekends. LOL
@miguelgoncalves65636 ай бұрын
@@norseman5041 Yes, that's what I felt -- KGB -- although an awful lot nicer. I just wish I knew it before going. I'm from the south of Europe where speed limits are a suggestion and it's difficult to get a ticket if you pay attention to Waze, so, it's not an exaggeration to say it was a culture shock. I dreamt of canyon carving and got canyon snailling...

I own the H-Moov electronic version for about 5 months and wont ride without it. When I go for a quick ride and just doing a round trip I remove the backpack part and use it as a vest. When I ride into work sometimes, i use the full backpack extender unzipped. For me it was the perfect option as with a lot of under vests you cant use a backpack. Riding a sportsbike as my only bike I needed a backpack option. Also being able to replace the cartridge myself for £60 is also way cheaper than any other vest. Good overview, I had forgotten about the helmet holder :)

Thank you for giving the dimensions of the laptop pocket. I have been eyeing this for commute and driving out to work in a coffee shop (cliche though it may be), and there is no specification on their sites. For work I have a 16" Lenovo Yoga, which should fit, probably with a protective sleeve. For travel I have... no laptop (usually).

As a Norwegian, here is a little update on speeding fines in Norway. They have gotten way more expensive, about 50% more for each *category*
@roadadventure12728 ай бұрын
Wow! Thanks for an update
@eddale55577 ай бұрын
Yes it is a goverment robbery of peoples as we can se in Norway the fines don't stand to the wrong you have done it is insane it is pure wrong in my eyes! Only to speed 5 km/h over the speed limit it cost 150 US dollars that is insane how easy is it not to have 5 km/h to much? and it dosent matter really for any safety. But 10 or more then we talk even that is insane expensive about 300-370 dollars as pr may 2024. Drive on red light 600 dollars and remember in Norway you are not aloved to drive to the right if it is a red light either as in some countrys that is aloved!

They give you the option, subscription or buy the control unit. With subscription it`s easier for more people to afford it, since it`s half price compared to other airbags.

Hi, I’m heading to Norway this July, taking the month for a return trip from Belgium. I’ll stay in hotels, B&B, cabins. Is it necessary to book all in advance or can I ‘book as I go’?
@roadadventure12729 ай бұрын
Hi Paul! You should be good, but of course, there is a risk as there is a high season then. If traveling without a tent, I would try to book them at least a day or two in advance to modify the plan if needed.

I am planning to go to Norway on my motorbike this summer. Just have a question if we don't need to register Autopass, then how do we pay for the ferries in Norway.
@roadadventure1272 Жыл бұрын
There will be someone on a ferry, typing the moto plate number into the system, some ferries are free for moto, but for those which are not you should get a bill by mail. Still, I haven't received any bill, and autopass confirmed that I don't have any outstanding payments
