Good shit. But I'll never understand why Cameramen insist on filling the frame with the face of an instrumentalist and keep it there. I don't give a shit what they look like or how much they sweat. All I care about is what they do when they're playing.

I came here from Fishing with John. I didn't know he was a jazz musician. His work was is sublime. I played in grade school, but, only got as far as AlleyCat. What I typed above made sense before autocorrect got hold of it. Did John do the theme song for the show? It is so astoundingly mellow!

yes, he did the theme for the fishing show. he has a new Painting with John show that's great! He's done quite a few movie soundtracks as well

I didn't know about the painting show! Thanks for the tip mrjinenjo. My uncle did the cinematography on the first two episodes of the fishing show. Also Art Kulp check out Marvin Pontiac (his blues alter ego).

Bell solo..... Bell solo? sometimes bell solo? a bell solo is a bell solo? bells playing with slight bass backing???? ok.... so it happened. you thought it would never happen. but alas it has, for a brief moment in time..... if only for the briefest of milliseconds.... a bell played a solo. it was a different time. filled with different people. god help us.
