I do agree: Nickelcreek's version is definitely the best: none could over-rate it. Not even the composer himself it seems (although it sounds nice here)

Last tune isnt the Lark (which isa jig) but The Bucks of Oranmore (a reel, with parts very similar to the Lark). Too bad they stomped all over Paddyś groove when they moved into the Skylark. Very jarring, and makes them sound like a pub band.

Yep, pipe on the hob and lark in the morning, know both of these on the whistle but didn't know you could play either one on the highland pipes. I believe pipe on the hob needs a few natty's in it to work. Cheers boys!

I think it's his own setting of "The Broken Pledge", but with the normal F natural notes sharpened to F#.
