You need to do an indepth video showing what all needed to be disconnected to do this. This looks way easier than taking it out piece by oiece

Like a rubics cube the worst the music doesn't make it any easier and to put it all back like it was the worst most mechanics won't do the job they say take it somewhere else and it's several thousands 4 or 5 easy the worst

I just asked a Chevy Service Advisor if there was any common repair for this gen Impala. He told me it was the AC evap core. His description of the repair matches this video perfectly. He said it is a 12 hour repair. $175 labor per hour plus parts.
@ejmegzcarvlog722625 күн бұрын
@@coniccinoc. this video is not for dealer procedures. its my idea. In dealership standard procedures is removing by one by one until the evap can access. so the labor its high.
@coniccinoc25 күн бұрын
@@ejmegzcarvlog7226 He told me they have to remove the entire dash (IP) to service the AC. Not sure if there is another way. My AC is working fine at the moment. Wondering if this is something I should be concerned about.

@@coniccinoc dealers are having own ways or standard ways to repair. Yes! the labor of this job is absolutely high. And my video's are in my own ways.

@@coniccinoc Yes correct removing entire dash is needed to access the evap core. Dealers are removing component in the dash one by one until the evap core is accessible. My ways is removing whole dashboard directly to access the evap core at the back of dash

Great video I have excessive water coming from my rear AC unit. The drain stays clear but it still backs up into my vehicle and gets the passenger floorboard wet. Could excessive water be an indication of an AC evaporator that is failing? The air blows ice cold.
@ejmegzcarvlog7226Ай бұрын
Thank you for the comment. Yes your correct. There are a numbers of ways in which air flow can be restricted. First if your country is high humidity %. The dirt stuck inside of the evap core can cause the air flow restricted and evap core will frozen and the drain plug clogged the water stay inside.
