Argentina fue el segundo país que más inmigraciómn europea atrajo, después de Estados Unidos. Por su calidad de vida, es el único país de Latinoamérica con tasa migratoria positiva. Por eso Argentina no aparece en este timelapse.

THEY TAKE AWAY THEIR WHOLE LIFE!!! I live iin. Tijuana BC I've met so many people who have been deported I've also seen how much they suffer from that besides being away or separated from their life families they need to adapt to a different country life style some of them bearly speak Spanish and it is sad for me to say this but I've seen how some of them just can't take it they end up homeless and deeply into drugs 😢 and nobody seems to understand how deeply they are affected and how hard it is for them start all over all alone.

Será que aún no llega a la cifra de los otros países. Venezuela antes no inmigraba está inmigrando en estos últimos años y los otros países han emigrado desde antes. Los venezolanos han emigrado la mayoría a América Latina.

Are you seriously counting Mexicans as immigrants before 1848??? Most of the southern part of the U.S. before that year was Mexican territory; then the anglos stole the land from the Mexicans; the gringos were the immigrants before that.

Many Indian cities are still missing. From the 1000s 1150s Kalyani had a population of around 200,000. Also during this time period, Anahilapataka had 150,000 people and many cities like Warangal, Gauda, Kanyakubja, Kharjuravahaka, Dharanagar, Varanasi, Ujjayini, Dwarasamudra etc had populations of around 80,000 to 100,000. Also, the Vijayanagara Metropolitan area had a population of 1 million in 1500, as did Dhaka in 1600s. Pune, Lucknow and Murshidabad had populations of around 200,000 to 300,000 in the late 1700s.

No es posible que Trump hijo de inmigrantes polacos esté en contra de los inmigrantes mexicanos ambos inmigrantes y también Kamala Harris hija de inmigrantes jamaicanos y indios dijo que no fueran a Estados Unidos. Ambos no merecen gobernar Estados Unidos. El que debe gobernar es Robert Kennedy el si valora a los inmigrantes y hasta habla español.

At least from 1917 on, Puerto Ricans don't count as 'immigrants' as Puerto Rico is a US territory and Puerto Ricans are citizens of the USA.

Not at all, because Puerto Rico is not incorporated into the United States. Literally it is an unincorporated territory which means that Puerto Rico is not a part of the US, but a mere possession subject by to Acts of Congress. To put it simply... think of a necklace: the necklace is your possession but the necklace is not part of your body.

No sabía que la inmigración alemana fue tan masiva como la irlandesa, entonces lo que uno asume que es el fenotipo estadounidense, alto, rubio y ojos claros, se debe en gran parte a este hecho. Es curioso, porque el estadounidense de principios del siglo XIX no se parecía en nada al de finales del siglo XX, y con la migración mexicana y latinoamericana que hay ahora es probable que el estadounidense de finales de este siglo tenga más rasgos latinos que los actuales.

Spain never had colonies, they were provinces, Puerto Ricans were so Spanish with the same rights as Spaniards, Spain never had colonies, like Canary Islands, It´s not a colony, it´s the same country

My point of view… Just for informing you that Cuba 🇨🇺 and Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 were Spain 🇪🇸 until 1898. Hence I would have included to the Spanish filter until that year… For the rest it’s really incredible this demographic evolution.

@@ehqtor Just a little correction due to the real history in the past, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 has never been a colony from Spain 🇪🇸. You, were part of Spain as an autonomous province until 1898. As far as I know you belonged to the Virreinato of Nueva España.

@@ehqtor I do not understand you properly. Please read true history. Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 was founded by Spaniards in 1493 as a part of Virreinato of Nueva España. At the middles of the Century XVIII with the Borbonics Reforms, the Status of the island had changed to be called as “Capitanía General”. After the year that you’ve signalized, they commenced to be a province. On point to clarify the “Colonization” that you’re mentioning was an activity to move people from the Iberian Peninsula to that place and as you really know it commenced to be mixed with the local natives. It was a colonization in therms of territory, not as mercantile as anglos did. Just for clarifying this one ☝🏻
